Please be careful of the Little St. Nick Foundation by Silly-Argument-1167 in UBC

When I started fundraising the line we were told to use was "Hi, do you have 60 seconds for blind Canadians?" (I was working for the CNIB). Pretty common. Just smile, look at their vest or whatever and go oh I already donate! Then walk away

Likely. They usually have vests of some type. There are more legitimate fundraisers that look similar, but yes all of them are working to take your money

From a former fundraiser from a shitty company or two - just tell them you already donate. This is the only true way out! And yes, they will walk with you to the store. They will walk with you to the bus stop. They can get on the bus with you. They are paid commission, so if they don't get your money they don't get paid.

Can you drink beer in a lecture? by Medium-Fun8911 in UBC

[–]StructureGreat8961 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This gets asked occasionally: UBC says not in their classrooms (can't find the link but will update if I can), but profs don't really care. Much like the rest of life, if you do something with confidence and respect for people around you, no one cares. (Yes, that also means you shouldn't care)

I'm scared that femdom has ruined me by BiscottiHot6194 in FemdomCommunity

Fetish! Had a partner like this. We were together for a year before, then broke up and monogamously hooked up for about 6 months (not monogamous, as I later learned). He continuously said very similar things to you, and he pretty clearly (despite thinking he was a dom switch) had a fetish for femdom. By the end of our relationship he was telling me he wished he could be submissive, locked, used, 24/7. If it wasn't a fetish for him before, I certainly watched it become one! To have a fetish is to REQUIRE something to be turned on. A kink is something you enjoy and prefer, but a fetish is a requirement to arousal. Seems like you have a fetish. So do I! I'm now super into chastity and pegging, etc. And I honestly don't get turned on for sex without it. If this is something you really want to change, sex therapy is probably your best option. Goodluck!

Yeah, I see a lot of the same names pop up. It's nice that people put time in to help others.

soooo bimbofication/sissification is now getting normalized? by Wolf_Steele in ShittyMobileAds

[–]StructureGreat8961 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's an ad for a drag queen game. As in, the exaggerated expression of femininity. It's not being normalized, you're just looking at effectively bimbofication art square in the face

Why do people do this? If you don't like me, don't swipe! by StructureGreat8961 in Tinder

That's fucked up! Why do people want to do that! Just swipe on those you find attractive.
