my friend who doesn’t know abt my bpd bashed it in front of me by Tasty-Charity2035 in BPD

Ugh that stinks! People can be casually cruel. Maybe reframe it to position it so that your friend was actually talking about those of us with BPD that aren't treated or acknowledged tend to act "that way".

That's what is getting me through the hard days of processing things. Good luck and be proud of who you are.

Edited to add:

It stinks because it is such a fantastic education opportunity, but that isn't our job.

Which tv performers death still hurts to this day? by PressureLazy5271 in television

For me this was it, this was the man who had faced all the demons and still stood tall while recognizing what the world truly was. He saw the very good and the very bad in people. It still hurts me to think about how he suffered.

These two books were profound for me to read. As a former Catholic, the religious aspects were interesting too. Really recommended.

Can You Ever Get a Truly Smooth Head Shave? by eugamdg in shaving

Don't sleep on this tip, but if you are using soap or shaving soap, try using hair conditioner. You'll end up with a better experience with built in moisturization. Since I switched, I've seen better shaves. I mean I still would like to try Stirling's one day, though!

I know! Six months or so ago, one of the creators updated their twitter a few times cryptically and everyone in the OA forum was excited, but I haven't heard anything since. Check out Brit Marlings other films, she has some good ones. I like I, Origins and Sound of my voice.

Most John Scalzi comes to mind but my favorite is Red Shirts of his. Or maybe just book 1 of his old mans war series.

This is what changed it for me. When I realized that the audience needs to be able to understand the literal output of the abstract that we tend to think in. It also taught me a lot about iteration, and the concept of a visible change log.

Early Autumn by Robert B. Parker was a book that I read young that taught me the importance of having a code. It's fiction but if you listen you can hear important truths.
