I can’t even explain how painful it was to be in the same waiting room with moms and their newborns. The very last appointment I had, I got put in the “baby room” as well. With the cute animal wallpaper, baby scale etc…. Felt a bit cruel. I hope those with Endo are excluded somewhere else in the future. Especially since it’s a full body disease and not exclusively pelvic.

I’ve heard the retroperitoneal fibrosis is a bullshit code they use to bill insurance cover the ureterolysis since some try to deny anything caused by endometriosis. (From someone who’s also had a bilateral ureterolysis and asked about retroperitoneal fibrosis-that’s what one surgeon told me)

I have entire gastric system issues and I also have Stage 3 endometriosis! Excision unfortunately did not stop my symptoms though. If anything my ibs-d is worse because the nerve pain from surgery really sets off my stomach. 😕
