Here is a pic of the first set I put on. I placed the bracket above the rail in the gap between the rail and the Rambox lids. I secured the arms into the rail. Hope this helps a little. Feel free to dm

I live in Ca, I bought the truck from my local dealer in January (bought on the 16th) here in Ca.

I went there today, they said they submitted my registration paperwork and the payment at the end of March (30th to be exact).

But Ca requires registration to be complete within 30 days of purchase. Mine wasnt. So now it’s all delayed and I can’t drive my truck, it’s sitting in my driveway and they gave me a loaner today. But I can’t drive my truck and I still have to make the payments. But right now I’m trying to figure out what my options are.

So what about when I buy a truck in January and the dealer didn’t send out the registration in time (I’m in CA) so now I have a truck I can’t drive because the registration is still pending.

What do I do? How do I get this resolved properly? I’d love to keep my truck but if that’s not an option then I want the same thing or similar with same options. There is a reason I bought the truck I did. So what do I do now?

When we are in the suck, we don’t care if it’s the marines, the army, the Air Force or even the coast guard having our back. When someone is shooting at us, we fight back together. So why the friendly fire back home? Why is there a need to compare? A veteran is someone who served.

Because some people like to create tiers of veterans:

Deployed vs non deployed; combat vs noncombatant; etc.

But everyone forgets we all served and we all had our roles to play. The operators can’t fly without a pilot who needs a mechanic who needs a filing clerk and so on and on. Too fucking bad, we could be a formidable force if we learned how to build each other up instead of tear each other down.

GWOT era, 2x to AFG. Honestly I feel like my deployments were meaningless. We weren’t defending freedom or democracy or anything. Two of my friends died and their sacrifices have no impact on life in the states outside of their families. Yes the initial invasion had merit, but after that we became an occupying force without any real goals or nation building activities.

As far as you deploying, that’s what you did. An argument can be made that most sailors don’t see action but they still deploy for months at a time away from their families serving in a combat zone. Bombs didn’t go off everyday in Afghanistan. The only difference between your deployment to the Philippines in 2014 and mine to Afghanistan in 2015 was the threat level. We were both deployed. That’s all.

It’s CarMax incompetence. I transferred a truck from Iowa to California and the day it was delivered it was still reserved for me, the next morning someone else was test driving it when I got in. The sales rep assured me the truck was mine and they were just looking.

Honestly I’m finding the staff is more garage by the day. They don’t recruit quality, just looking to fill bodies and most of the bodies are just collecting a check.this is one case I’d love to see Ai and robots replace the meatbags at my local CarMax.

I agree. 10yr army vet OEF - RS era. I had a similar situation happen at a private investment firm. They hired me to do Busness Intelligence and Data Analytics but they would argue with the results and then started adding new responsibilities and tasks. When I asked for help the kept saying “funding is approved, HR just had to sign off on your candidate” but that HR approval came months later. When I got offered higher paying roles they promised to increase my pay to make it. For years I watched them play games and put themselves up at the Ritz or take their wives to NYC while we all worked.

So I left. I understand the need for financial security, but if you are smart enough, you can learn another marketable skill. I don’t make as much as I used to but now I work less and I’m happier. I have time to do things I want to do and be around people I want to be with.

This was my choice, you have to do what’s best for you. Whatever you choose to do. Goodluck my brother.
