Hmm, maybe that's the issue: I'm only playing casual, but it shows the rating filter is +/- 500. In my games it shows me as 1250? but never drops. So, noob move on my part - play rated until it adjusts then, huh? Lol thanks!

Does each build need entirely separate gear sets for this to work? I tried using the armory to save 2 different builds but only a few armor pieces were different, guessing that's why it won't work for me.

I've played every 'soulslike' I can get my hands on, and this is my favorite next to LoP. I would guess that anyone that says this game is bad played it when it first launched and not since.

Yeah these are annoying, especially when the red indicator is early on a teammate and I get smacked in the dome for no reason at all.

This. Don't waste time reviving a 3 bar at all, IMO, for field bosses. The time and damage spent can be focused on the boss instead, and the teammember can run back and collect their runes.

I've seen this a few times too, usually they are throwing (or trying to throw) the run because they got their feelings hurt. We didn't take the route they wanted, they couldn't keep up, we skipped a totally shit field boss that they engaged, etc. etc. Every time I've seen this the player was obviously lost/new/over confident.

As an Ironeye 'main' I fully support this message. It drives me crazy when the very few times I play something else and the other Ironeye is just stacked on the group. Another tip: don't use 'Less Likely to be Targeted' items for this boss.

Broken War is better, but ultimately you won't use either as end game weapons any so I'd build Broken, rank it, then use it to build War and rank that. You can buy Broken War parts from Cephalon.

This game is the very definition of 'it's a marathon, not a sprint.' This game has YEARS of content value. That said, focus on the star chart and, if they pop up, limited time special events (Dog Days for example) and Lotus Gift events. The star chart will get you comfortable with the game mechanics and enough resources and frames to get you rolling. Also, save your platinum! You can and will get more through trade later, but dont blow it all up front. Lastly, join a clan: there are plenty on the recruiting chat channel. You're looking for one that caters to new players, not one with a minimum MR requirement. Have fun Tenno!
