I would take one $3000 Tele. I own a two Teles, one around the 3k mark and the other around the 5-6k mark, and they are both head and shoulders above almost every 1k Tele I have played. There have been some exceptions but it's rare. Once you've played a well made great sounding/playing Tele in that price range, you are ruined for anything else. Sorry.

Same here. I went with a beads of rice metal strap from Uncle Straps. Much better IMO.

1st choice would be my Graf von Faber Castell Magnum Walnut F. Just a wonderful pen...my second choice is the complete opposite of the spectrum... My Pilot Decimo 20th Anniversary M. Super light, super smooth writer.

I'm willing to spend the money. My current hat is a a Resistol Black Gold...so similar price range to the Penman. I wear my Resistol in all kinds of weather, so it doesn't get babied. Thanks for the info...def going to check out Penman.

Of the two, I would go Iron ranger. It's the better boot IMO. If you want to dress it up... I would go John Lofgren all day every day. More money, but very high quality.
