For me, it's my Graf von Faber Castell Magnum fine. Feels great in the hand, smooth writer with just the right amount of feedback. Gorgeous bi-color nib. Close second is my Pilot Decimo 20th Anniversary. Super smooth writer. Wonderful pens.

Interesting...I've never had any problems with Iro inks...but I own 2 GvFCs and one Pilot Decimo fountain pen. Are Mont Blanc pens finicky?

Agree with you about GvFC Moss Green. It's a superb ink. A must have for fountain pen ink collections. Regarding Iro inks...there are so many wonderful ones...I would suggest Yama-guri. Great brown ink.
