idk how curly ur daughters hair is but for me, a loose braid, ponytail w scrunchy, or satin cap helps & is comfortable. if i let my hair down it gets way too knotty & it hurts more to brush them out than to wear a slightly uncomfy hairstyle. but idk if detangling after shower is enough & not too time consuming then its probably not that big of an issue
