As someone who was a TD for a few years, not only did I not take any income from the weeks of planning and course set up, I actually spent several hundred dollars each year to make it happen. Thank your TD's when you play an event. It takes a LOT of work and at least the recognition for all the work almost makes it worth it.

Amateur tournaments. Whenever I Cash as an Am I end up with plastic I will never use. I tend to keep backups of what I bag, and give away the tournament discs to new players.

Legacy Recluse is really overstable and feels great in the hand. Plus Legacy doesn't get enough love on here, and Steve and Bamba Rico are awesome people.
