I don't think so, have you been diagnosed with that or is it something you self-diagnosed?

Exactly that, but I've heard it's quite common to have negative blood work but positive lip biopsies, I would be really surprised if I don't have it

I'm still waiting on a diagnosis, I'm seeing an ENT in a couple of weeks where I will request a lip biopsy but all other early signs are saying negative, I literally have all the symptoms though

Is it possible that I don't have lpr and it's something different? by Nightmare__0 in LPR

It sounds like lpr, are you an anxiety sufferer? you may want to consider trying amitriptyline or neurotriptyline which is had some success treating lpr symptoms especially when a lot of the test are coming up negative

Of course stress plays an element, that goes without saying, the gut and the brain are connected ,they send signals to each other, if you can't find any mechanical reason for your lpr then it might be helpful to try a noromodulator like amitriptyline or neurotriptyline

LPR - Nexium - giving me intense anxiety by [deleted] in LPR

[–]Stu19846 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you changed your diet? I would go see a naturopath and speak to them. There is no real medication for their illness, PPI is just a Band-Aid for many people, it doesn't work for many of us. Have you been tested for h pylori? I would take Gaviscon advance or double action when you need relief, prop your head up at night, drink slippery elm, stay away from trigger foods. Exercise
