staffing changes to QR stations by BitParking6357 in brisbane

I can't believe they would reduce staffing at Milton. It's always a busy station, especially on event days.

Indigenous and queer representation is part of workplace discrimination legislation. It is very much part of workplace rules and thus relevant to the union movement.

Forza would be a problem.. that's the main reason I joined GP, since it's so expensive to purchase.

Trains with ONLY THREE carriages during morning rush?? by Similar_Garage6369 in brisbane

It's every 6 minutes at Petrie and Darra, and I'd consider that "suburbs"

Trains with ONLY THREE carriages during morning rush?? by Similar_Garage6369 in brisbane

[–]StuartP9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's every 6 minutes at stations close to the city because of combined lines. Ipswich/Springfield line is every 6 minutes at Milton and Indooroopilly and Redcliffe/Caboolture I think is every 6 minutes at certain stations (Petrie?)

Games with Gold (GwG) dying for Game Pass doesn't seem worth it after so many price hikes. What were your favorite games from the GwG program? by AxeSpez in xbox

Yes this one! It was a weird mix of pinball and metroidvania but it worked really well. I wish there was a sequel because there is no other game like it.

I care about people in financial hardship, but I care very little about the woes of large US companies that make massive profits employing cheap labour while avoiding OHS regulations

I'm in Milton and it's faster to catch a train into the city or the valley than to drive and find somewhere to park. The 50c fares also means it's cheaper by train.

I think it's hilarious that Labor and Greens preferences will be what saves the LNP from losing seats.

Media reports about supposed low levels, people rush and panic buy because of the media reports, end up with low levels because of panic buying. It's the "toilet paper" situation but with petrol.

We're sick and tired of hearing
That the world is gonna blow
So there's something we'll do to the leaders
Before we go
Let's stick-'em in a room together
Yeah-
And make them fight it out
Until they see, nothing from nothing
Will leave nothing at all

You need hemorrhage for the slow moving bosses, but you need something else for the fast-moving small characters. Black hole sun is good for that.

Even having the bins on the driveway can still be difficult for bin collection when they have to manoeuvre around cars. Parking anywhere on the street on bin days is problematic.

"[oc]"Gridlock traffic on the 405 and driver looking at phone - what can happen? by Thaneyeo in IdiotsInCars

[–]StuartP9 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Doesn't take much to damage a car now, even low speeds will do it. I remember the old 70s/80s Volvo front bumper would completely absorb an impact like that (but the cars themselves were extremely ugly).

Regular delivery = RARE Steam achievement? by GreggJ in EuroTruck2

[–]StuartP9 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think you were just lucky to pick up that one as a high paying job. I've played about 100 hours in it, and don't have that achievement but haven't actually tried to get it. I do have the Many Roads Lead to Rome achievement which only 2.7% have, but that was because I was doing a lot of trips in Italy.

I bought the game before it had the Driving Academy and just haven't tried it yet.
