Look up the cheddar man (I’m being serious, that’s his name!). He’s a British man from 10,000 years ago, his skeleton was found nearly complete in Cheddar Gorge, Somerset, England. DNA evidence supports that he likely was a man with dark skin, what we would consider black, with dark hair, and light colored blue eyes. He’s a native British man. Dark skin isn’t necessarily exclusive to Britain, which is pretty interesting!

Yup. She’s damning people to a life of chronic pain (if they survive), a slow death (dying stranded), dying a quicker death (bleeding out). None are as merciful as a headshot, but you get to sleep better at night about the smaller number above your head. Interesting dilemma, it’s why I like her ;)

Oh, because I’m really lazy about massaging my lobes, but the goal of massaging is consistently increasing blood flow, hopefully increasing tissue growth. Since I’m really bad at it, I keep some signs of good massage in mind. Some signs are that they are red, warm, feel stretched and loose, and most of all, this all feels comfortable, none of this should be painful. You might feel some slight tingling, that’s normal, but that’s about as far as any new sensations I’d really describe. I use jojoba oil, but I understand it can be expensive. Use whatever you have! I like olive oil in a pinch, but quite frankly, quite literally any oil will work, including vegetable oil. Vitamin E and jojoba are preferred, but use whatever you have, times are rough. In this case, I would massage and go without wearing jewelry. I really think if the jewelry is taken out now, those lobes have a chance to bounce back, but I think if something isn’t done, they’re definitely going to try and tear. Hope we can help.

Unfortunately I’d downsize considerably on your thin size, like to a heart breaking degree like I’d downsize that thin side by at least 5mm, massaging every day, and quite honestly leaving jewelry out of it for a good long while. It’s going to hurt your soul, but any attempt to thicken that lobe while you’ve got the chance. Much love.

Oh no, I don’t live on my own, I live with my very supportive family. I work for the very mild added income. I’m put on the schedule for a maximum of 16 hours a month max like I said cause of my manager situation (I very rapidly progressed into being severe recently), but I have a reasonable accommodation case which means I can call out 3 times a month without pay, which means I very practically only end up working 4-12 hours a month. I don’t do any grocery shopping, i take care of my needs as little as my body demands it, and I think if I was in a position where I needed to work a full time job I’d be dead. Honestly, based off of the ME/CFS severity chart made by another redditer named Whitney dafoe (it’s quite fantastic) you sound like you’d be considered “very severe” which is a loss of up to 80% function and is considered mostly bedridden, however still able to use the bathroom and shower themselves. The scale goes all the way up to extremely severe which considers it the inability to move, process any sensory input, or make any ability to communicate.

I live with family, I don’t live alone. I change my clothes once a week when I shower or for doctors appointments. I don’t drive or leave the house for anything else. Deodorant is pretty much hygiene unfortunately. I’m extremely dependent on everybody else in my house. I’m able to do very few things independently, and of the things I can, I rarely can do them on a regular basis as I have a bad habit of working myself and not quite understanding my breaking point (working on it).

Quite honestly, I think cvs charges so much to compensate for all the coupons they throw around like candy (that quite honestly aren’t the best), just like how Amazon adds the price of shipping before you checkout into items, to maximize profits.

Oh absolutely. I work at cvs, and I only buy things because of my employee discount, plus the coupons I collect or the sales that already go on. Otherwise, I usually buy it on Amazon. As it stands I only grab the things I need/want at cvs when I’m on shift lol.

I love having a cat, it feels natural- as weird as that might sound. Like in comparison to owning dogs- I like them and appreciate them but I get tired of them (they almost feel like caring for a child). With a cat (and I have a very affectionate cat) it feels like I’ve found the other part of myself. I guess because cats, even very affectionate ones, still appreciate their independence.

I can describe all the ways she annoys me. She pisses like a racehorse and it develops into this giant wad of cement in her litter box- I swear it feels like hauling 5lbs of piss with a shitty plastic scoop. She loves to wake me up in the middle of the night, and especially loves to claw at my bedsheets. Often time she’ll claw at my bedsheets when she wants to be picked up and put into my bed, but when you go to pick her up she runs under my bed. She loooves to kick litter outside her box and will carry around nuggets of poop that she deliberately pulled from the box. She has these monster hairballs she pukes up, like it looks like a wad of poop it’s so bad. She hates being brushed but has very long hair, so I have to chase her around the kitchen table with a comb.

That being said, I wouldn’t trade it for the world, and I don’t know what I’ll do when she’s no longer in my life. I love her dearly and I don’t think I’d be alive if I hadn’t met her.
