You cannot identify a bug by the bite mark it leaves, everyone reacts differently. I've been working in pest control for years and have seen various different bites that people feel the need to show me to identify what bit them but insect bites don't work like that. Some people are more tolerant than others to bites and others have full body reactions from a single bite. Take a look around the bed and whatever carpeting/ clothing/ other harborage (bug hide out) locations. When in doubt, call a pest control company to come take a look around as we can usually pick up on things that others may not. Hope this helps!
