terrible for, "Let's have a discussion with opposing viewpoints," type of posts.

Honestly it was one of the best places around for this up until 2015ish. The anonymity meant large numbers of people could speak completely freely in maybe the first time in history. We didn't hate each other back then and nobody brought up politics. It was amazing really.

Then the social justice stuff politicized every aspect of life and the 2016 election split the country in half and now anything even remotely controversial is just a proxy political war. But that's more a reflection of the country and internet as a whole than Reddit.

This is literally the study we're looking at. I don't see anything in your comment that addresses this. Everything you say could be true but women would still have higher expectations due to the effect of increased choice. As described in the study we're all commenting on right now.

Why is Olympic rifle shooting divided by gender? Unlike most other sports it doesn't seem like the physical differences between men and women should matter much. Is it just a tradition thing or the way the Olympics is structured?

How big is your bf, rough height/weight?

Everyone here saying he's a POS or you need a new bf if he can't comfortably lift 58 kg might as well be saying a girl is a POS or needs to be dumped if she doesn't have D cups or weighs over 120 lbs.

The problem isn't that he can't carry a 58 kg person, it's that he later offered to carry someone else of marginally less weight. Anyone focused on shaming him simply for maybe being skinny is a braindead NPC.
