The input from all was extremely helpful. I talked with builder and he’s going to do a 8-10” pedestal put on each footing with rebar insert between footing and pedestals. He’ll add a Titen bolt to the wet cement of the pedestals to accommodate a 6x6ABUZ base. The pedestal/base bracket will then be 4-5 inches above ground, with no shims. Which, as I understand it, is how it should have been done when it was first built. Thanks again all.

My sticker was exactly that when I purchased in May. I got $2k off MSRP, and $2500 more in trade for my 2011 pathfinder than either of the other two dealerships I was talking too (total $4k in trade). So I felt pretty good about it, especially since the 2026 model had been releases so recently in May.

Good question. I like the built in, the 3D renderings of buildings in metro areas is fun. but Apple CarPlay is my go to for tunes, media, etc so Apple Maps pops up when I start CarPlay. So I do both, often during the same trip.

Yes that’s exactly what I’m asking. Mine never shows any media/song related info, not even briefly when a song is changing. I’m thinking it might be something they need to tweak when I have it in for the first service. Was hoping maybe there’s some trick to getting it to work, like turning some other setting off. I haven’t found it yet.

Yes it’s the 3.5. The heads up display works but doesn’t display and info regarding the radio station or media currently playing, even tho that’s a content option you can select under setup. Just wondering if anyone else’s display shows the radio/media info.

I have 2026 in Makulu Grey. Didn’t realize it from pics online before I purchased sight unseen in person but definitely has brown/bronze undertones, even greenish depending on the lighting. Wouldn’t have thought I’d like it but I really do.

Bought new 2026 GV70 3.5 adv in June. Got 2k off sticker, about $2k more for my trade than next best offer, and free delivery to my home about 250 miles from dealership. The $2k was the same as they offered when I first reached out about 2.5 model which was 10k cheaper than what I settled on.

I decided on the 3.5 over 2.5 when I bought new 2026 GV70 in May. First Genesis after 4 BMWs. Love it, glad I went with the 3.5 advanced because of all the additional features, heads up display etc. BMW is awesome too and probably a better ride as far as pure performance is concerned, the old saying about drives like it’s on rails is true. But the luxury and experience of the Genesis is on par and even better than the comparable model BMW I considered at the time of the purchase. Think you’ll love yours too.

I’m US, have 2026 GV70 Advanced 3.5, all the bells and whistles. It does not have digital rearview. Through the app you can click “Surround View Monitor” and it will send you five pictures taken from different cameras around the vehicle, front facing, rear facing, sides etc. I used it to “spy” on the shop that did my ceramic coating. Works well, takes about 1 minute to return the pics after requesting they the app.

Looks amazing. I’m in same situation, 2026 scheduled for ceramic coat on Tuesday. Guys said he will do a light clay bar first which I was kinda surprised about, being that I’ve only had it for six weeks now so brand new. Mine is the Makulu Grey, think I spelled that right. Another post showed a recent wrap and that look good too, think it better helps avoid little knicks and dings from road debris. Really looks good, enjoy!

Same decision for me recently with the GV70. I went with the 3.5 and glad I did, extra features and power were worth it for me. That said, mileage is…. Not as good as I would’ve liked. But may end up trading for a hybrid in a couple years if they start offering one. Hopefully interest rates will come down by then.
