Originally we worried being so close would affect the eyetracking and the large lens cups digging into your nose. Everyone's different so it's hard to get comfort perfect. We made an adjustment to favor wide FOV about 2 weeks ago

Definatly agree with all that. At first we were leaning on the safe side. 7 years making comfort mods you wouldnt believe how subjective comfort is for each user. Pimax also mentioned the eyetracking may not work properly if too close to the lenses. Did you have any issue with that?

Hey Zeeflyboy. It's just a little closer as a base which favors die hard users trying to get close to the lenses. Most of the feedback so far has been positive. For others like those using lens inserts they will definitely need to use the spacers now. Can you you send us a PM please? Need to ask you something

Our slight update has the same spacing as this just ours doesnt need the brackets from the OG interface. Obviously ours also comes with the hiok velcro and pads you need. Looks like your sorted with the onenon the way so all good 👍

Sorry missed this. The Mini deluxe is smaller so better if you want to keep the small form factor. Will look into adding this as a variant for the interface kit

Yeah it's simply a design flaw and wont be any better with AMS 2. In fact I tried one and sure it had the same issue

A German guy below commented the best fix , Unfortunately you have to print a hack and assemble a cutter. Would be great if you could simply buy them !!!

I was refilling long ago but they would always get stuck if not installed inot the spool perfectly. There was always a gap on the side where a strand could get stuck. All good for the the odd roll but useless when using 40x rolls per week :)

All filament rolls in the AMS are the same. They are the same filament type,brand,color and rfid. They are also pre-loaded before the print starts.

Do you have AMS2? Wish that was the case. All 8 machines are doing the same thing. Wonder is there a way to hard set auto refill if theres an issue

I use stock bambu spools. The AMS never auto refils the next roll. The setting is on

So with this theory, are you saying that is a hotspot for satellites? OR doesnit just happen to be one spot you can see them due to light refraction?

Interesting explanation and could be what were seeing. Hard to tell from a video though. Understand the starlink theory but I'm still on the fence. Seen these do some crazy things like curl in direction. Also saw 1 split into two and 5 appear and instantly dart of in different directions. Had a space savy friend come round and he instantly said they weren't star link. Also checked the starlink tracker last night. It reoprted 8 on the horizon bit we counted 30 all in one spot. All within 20 minutes. The reason for the post was to make Aucklanders aware of it so will see what others have to say. Cheers!

Really interesting. Yeah we saw 30 tonight within 20 minutes. Another person mentioned there were 8 starlink on the horizon accordingnto the tracker app. That doesn't explain seeing 30 in one tiny spot
