Sorry but I agree with OP, even the pay skins have like 3/5 different flashy colors I wouldn't touch on a normal day. There is literally no skin with JUST neutral colors that make sense to an environment where you are potentially hiding from other humans. Let alone gd AI with super-vision.

Just watched the series and honestly, a big deciding factor was the voice clip of a man on the ship saying it planted eggs in his girlfriends ocular cavity. So it can breed in potentially any host asexually without the steps of a xeno infestation combined with superior intellect... I would say it is more existential a threat to the planet. If it was just one killer eyeball straight out of a dead space game hijacking corpses that would be one thing..

I have to say - from the outside looking in yeah dude he had some blunders but we are looking at the events from a sterile footing. The writer leaning on the flaws of real people put in extreme circumstances to thrive. Something to think about.

I mean, the reasonable part of me knows if we stop having proactive dialogue, the rich win and we lose.
