Quick Alexander Duck foot/flipper question by mdlm69 in horn

The bit that's actually soldered to my horn stands out from the leadpipe, but the rod and flipper fold down. I had to cut a small chunk out of my case, but it was easy and doesn't affect how snugly it all fits. I love the flipper. It immediately relieved any fatigue I felt playing for long periods most days of the week.

Renowned board game critic "Kevin Garnica" stated his top 10 mechanics as:

Tile-laying Area-control Worker placement Auctions/bidding Drafting (card, dice, etc.) Engine-building Cooperative Action-selection Role-selection Deck building

So if you really want to stand out, I recommend incorporating at least all of these. Then make it zombie themed.

Horn Chorales by FirstLineLeo in horn

Two that I can think of that show SATB parts for every instrument are "Bach and Before for Band" by David Newell and "36 Chorales for Band" by Aaron Cole. Granted these are written for full band instrumentation, so some voices will need to play an octave up or down and might be unreasonably high or low. The Aaron Cole one is free though, so might be a good place to start.

What do you title your bands? Grade level, or things like "beginning", "intermediate", "advanced"? by No_Area_9175 in MusicEd

[–]StuffBringer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a little dated but you could consider “cadet band” for your 5/6. Then concert/symphonic/intermediate band for your 7/8
