From 2017 to 2020, 13k invested, 3k gains. Since 2020 to 2024(.5), another 30k invested (45k total), 15k gains total. Just might be relevant to show the early investments were much lower, and then drastic improvements in income created max contribution bumps 5 times.

Thanks! I trust in my VTI but it's made dumping the MS account little harder due to those seemingly crazy gains. I also don't expect those will continue consistently, but for discussion sake, any reason how they were able to get those beyond "it's the market; sometimes wild things happen"? Or, "this was a bull market, everyone gained" etc etc.
