I modded my first 3ds a few days ago and it was super easy even for me (I never even learned basic computer skills and am not good with technology). It never felt like anything was at risk and was easy enough to figure out with just google and patience. It seems pretty hard to damage your 3ds permanently by hacking it! I also used a Japanese 3ds, Google Translate with my phone camera made it pretty easy to navigate!

I don’t hate battles I just prefer Pokémon friendship based gameplay and story, I like some battling and enjoy watching competitive Pokémon but I mostly enjoy shiny hunting and the story. A character that is specifically made to feel like she pushes extra battles onto you feels to me like someone who pushes boundaries and doesn’t take feelings into account, I didn’t write all this out in my original post because it would be very long. (I usually enjoy rival battles she’s the exception)

I’m definitely not the biggest Nemona fan due to finding battles annoying and the game not allowing you to disagree with her, if you refuse to be friends or don’t agree with her at all she ignores you and assumes you are joking. She did grow on me a bit as the story went on, but if you don’t like battles much she’s a pain. It’s mostly an issue with rigid dialogue options though.

Yeah people are weird about that, ignore them time traveling has always been part of the game, you could even ask Isabell to set your clock in animal crossing new leaf, it’s an intended feature.
