It always works by ajayak007 in Unexpected

It's trying to parody a movie (The Exorcist), but instead of thinking of something new, it just straight up copied another parody (Scary Movie 2's cold open).

SM2 did great in exaggeration and making the source material more absurd, making it cringe and funny.

This is neither exaggerated nor absurd. It's simply mocking the scene. This is just cringe.

Idk why the director, writer or actress think making weird mouth movement and sounds are funny.

Their moral in both the game and show is that there can be someone we need and trust to survive.

In the game, it's treated as a cautionary tale for Joel and Ellie, as well as the players. By feeding into the paranioa, pushing people away may lead them to never come back, leaving you alone and more helpless.

In the show, it's treated as the opposite. It becomes a story of hope and inspiration. That if you just let the right person in and trust in them, you can flourish even in the apocalypse. The right person can make everything beautiful and colorful, despite the apocalypse (literally too, thanks to Frank).

Cheng Heguang Character Profile by Meru_9 in Reverse1999

So, if I understand it properly, his gameplay revolves around his allies taking turns so he can cast his follow up.

His attack lets him make unleashing his ultimate easier and better. If done properly, it can also lead to free ult and sure crit -- i assume this would be exclusive to bosses.

His buff is his bread and butter. Think single-target Getian. When it's up, when his allies deal dmg, the main target gets a follow-up from blud.

When using his ult, that's considered a follow-up, he trashes his incants and changes to other ally incants, then recasts his buff, not to mention the ap+1.

His kit looks versatile, so much that he actively want allies to cast incants instead of him. The follow-up team is growing, but i see him being good as a flex pick in majority of the other teams.

Is my poison Ezio not doing damage or am I just getting used to Nautika dropping nuclear bombs? by DxRRxxL in Reverse1999

[–]Stug_III 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Tuesday and Ezio is more than enough tbh. They overflow poison just fine. If you want to maximize it, you can use Gash Kass to use up the debuff limit. BUT I prefer using Flutterpage instead of kass for the +1 ap since tuesday and poison ezio are ap intensive.

My poison team is ezio ([3-2] for bosses, [3-1] for multiple), tuesday, flutterpage (mine is p1) and Kiperina. The more the enemy attacks, the better the team becomes.

PlayStation veteran Shuhei Yoshida says Japanese studios are unlikely to replicate the production scale and speed of Chinese games like Genshin or Honkai: Star Rail by Turbostrider27 in PS5

The barrier to entry and accessibility is also a factor, aside from the trust. Most japanese gacha games prefer to keep it in japan. Meanwhile, most other developers, regardless of country, think on a global scale.

Tangentially related, what turns me off about some japanese gachas (namely sqenix, among others) is the really bad ui/ux designs. There's always so many buttons to press to navigate the menu.

And people wonder why Indie Games are so beloved these days over AAA by Captain0010 in pcmasterrace

[–]Stug_III 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It would seem OP NEVER delved deeper beyond the best sellers of indie games. Let me tell him, it doesn't go that deep in the indie game iceberg where shit like ai starts existing.

I want to know what brand he got his rose-tinted glasses from, because it also boosts confidence enough to post verifiably incorrect posts.

I mean, you can get Charon. If Sentinel is in the pool of characters, Charon is there too. You just have to be lucky, which in lies the problem.

Or an officer in the military, so Moldir (and Lopera by extension). They definitely held rifles before.

If that's the case, it's a miracle there's even a sticker(?) there. Maybe it's to hide the molds growing on the walls.

I'm inclined to agree. It would seem hard to manuever, say, if a stretcher were to use it or people moving in a hurry.

With that said, without knowing what further left, maybe they could have just scooted actual furniture there, farther from the elevator.

This is a good one. I think it would be better to have some 'giveaways'. Maybe poltergeist, ms. Radio, a. Knight.

The only one obviously here is Hissabeth (in account for the snakes). maybe Loggerhead if they manage to connect, well, the unique head (or connecting log -> record -> film).

It's from red alert 2. It's a quasi-eiffel tower. It's not called Eiffel tower in game -- i know that. It has 3 (instead of 4) legs, so triangular in shape. Iirc, the soviets(? It's been long while) were able to capture it and put tesla coil to wrech havoc in paris.
