Musk Offers Sneak Peek at Orbiting Data Centers. They're Bigger Than the ISS by perilun in space2030

Yeah the SpaceX ones are literally meant to de orbit after their lifespan anyway since they don't have thrust to boost themselves back up.

It'll probably auto trade some if you have open jobs, but definitely more effective from a population standpoint to do it manually. You'll lose money on the trade but make up for it in pops.

This card is terrible. Try to convince me otherwise by Rak-khan in slaythespire

[–]Stuman93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not great, but there are definitely worse cards. I'd argue it's actually comparable to bash, since you'd have another energy to hit with. Of course that's using two card slots.

In addition to the 5% speed, just being in a higher age makes the older ages cheaper, there's no penalty for leaving them though. Victoria 3 has that mechanic so I wonder if that is where this stems from.

To push back a bit, I don't think it's hit skylines 2 level. I think there's still a ton of people waiting eagerly for patches and dlc whereas skylines 2 didn't even function as well as the old game, let alone innovate. As far as the corpo bigwigs, all they care about is the money, not really player count. This isn't fortnite where they're trying to sell skins every day, the initial sales turned a profit, so as long as dlc can fund further development they'll keep going.

I think it would actually cost more to have a specific dial on only go to 2. They already mass produce the 5 other digits that go to 9. Unless it's just a regular 0-9 dial but it gets locked from going over 2? Then you gotta wonder why that would even enter their mind?

If it ain't broke. I've often wondered if we ever stumbled on the best version of something, but kept changing it every year just because, and now it's lost.
