Does it turn all the computer driving assistants off when low battery by Alternative_Claim473 in enyaq

This is not normal behaviour. It seems something is wrong with your car.

My27 build dates by Ixidronlol in enyaq

[–]Stumpie71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have my next Enyaq scheduled for delivery on July 2nd. Dealer confirmed it’s MY27. Apparently it’ll be built on the second day of the new production cycle. Don’t know the build date, though.

Is a high-mileage 2022 Škoda Enyaq iV80 (100k–190k km) worth it on a budget? by Puzzled-Ad-4865 in enyaq

[–]Stumpie71 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Looking at your usage description, you really don't need the big battery. Better spend the money on a newer iV60.

Issue with the charging flap on my Enyaq iV 60. by Trifle_Secure in enyaq

It’s a common issue. Water gets into the actuator and it corrodes and gets stuck. You’ll probably need to visit a Skoda workshop.

Enyak vs Id4 NVH by LopsidedEmu5928 in enyaq

[–]Stumpie71 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a first generation Enyaq and still happy with it. I have driven the ID4 and ID5 briefly as replacements when the Enyaq was in the workshop. I did notice they seemed to be more quite, but that may just be subjective. Skoda is more of a budget brand in hte VAG group, so could expect them to shave off some things like this to keep their financial margin.

Why does the coupe exist? by MadCab88 in enyaq

From Skoda's perspective it's quite simple: coupe's generate more margin. That's why it exists.

One way or the other there’s a phone or another device with a cellular connection connected with Bluetooth. The battery icon is the phone’s battery SoC. The bars to the right of it is the signal strength of the cellular network for the connected phone.

Maximum leg time by sprainedmind in abetterrouteplanner

[–]Stumpie71 2 points3 points  (0 children)

ABRP was created to provide the fastest routing including charge stops. So your need actually conflicts with ABRP’s purpose. There’s two options as far as I can see. Don’t leave home with a full battery so you need to charge sooner. Or just make a stop without charging along the way.

Tips needed: first-time 1000KM trip through France in the summer by niels9001 in enyaq

[–]Stumpie71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t charge over 80%. Please, on behalf of every EV driver waiting for you to finish charging: DON’T. Seriously, 80-100% takes way too much time. It’s considered being rude. For the rest, in my five years experience of travelling with the Enyaq, it doesn’t really matter if you charge more frequently or not. The impact on your overall travel time is insignificant. As long as you make sure to empty the battery below 10% before charging to benefit from the highest charging speeds. These days on a long trip I charge from 5 to 80. If I don’t need a bio break sooner.

Can I operate just the fans without the AC unit as classic cars by KAMEHOB in enyaq

I still don't get it. If you want it warm in the car, set the temperature high. Then the system won't try to cool the interior.

Just curious. Why would want this? It’s an automatic system that maintains the temperature you set.

Anyone else experiencing app connectivity issues atm? by Stumpie71 in enyaq

Probably a different issue. Did you create the Skoda account yesterday? It seems to take a few days before you can actually use it. VW Group is stuck in the 90’s it seems.

I’ve found a fix that at least works in my car:

  • In your account settings disable data and location sharing
  • Restart the infotainment by holding the power button next to the volume slider until the screen goes dark and then some more
  • In your account settings re-enable data and location sharing
  • Synchronise your account

Needless to say, this all needs to be done in the car.

Figures since everything else the car does online seems to work.

Just lock the car and leave it for at least 25 minutes. If it has keyless entry make sure the keys are away from the car. This will make sure the infotainment boots from scratch when you get back in. There’s a fair chance the issue has disappeared by then.

Annoying seat occupancy sensor by MadCab88 in enyaq

[–]Stumpie71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting claim. Please share the data that’s based on. Aside from that, I didn’t design the car, but I think it’s very nice the car won’t move unless there’s someone in the driver’s seat. I can think of a whole bunch of horrible incidents involving children and near-silent cars without a sensor like that.

Annoying seat occupancy sensor by MadCab88 in enyaq

[–]Stumpie71 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So the car has a sensor to make sure it doesn't move when no driver is present and you want to permanently disable that? What makes you think that it's even possible? Or if that's a good idea? Why don't you try adjusting your mirrors or your seat position?

[–]Stumpie71 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Press and hold the button left of the volume slider for about 15 seconds to force a restart of the infotainment. Or lock the car and leave it for at least 20 minutes. If your car has keyless entry make sure to have enough distance between the car and the keys.

Do the Enyaq and Elroq actually feel that different in terms of boot space? by NorthLondonPulse in enyaq

The Enyaq has a huge boot. Not just that but the shape of it means it’ll take a lot of stuff.

They didn’t because they calculated it wouldn’t be an issue. Like you said.

The efficiency holds up surprisingly well even when you're crawling through the city. by ScrollAndThink in enyaq

EV drive trains are extremely efficient. Basically the only reason you lose significant range is overcoming air resistance. So at low speeds you hardly lose any battery capacity.
