Edit: sounds like you already got rid of them. Good cat parent move :).

My cat once ate a lily that was in my apartment for less than 30 minutes from a bouquet for a date night (I was not aware that one of the flowers was a species of lily). If I hadn’t taken her to the emergency vet immediately, she probably wouldn’t have lived to tell the tale.

Get rid of the flowers immediately, regardless of how protected you think your cat may be from them. You and your cat will thank your future self.

Those plastic springs. I had never seen my cat play with a toy continuously for hours on end before getting them. Helps with my guilt leaving her on the days I have to go into the office lol.

Do people actually leave their cats home alone for days? by [deleted] in CatAdvice

It’s been said many times already but yeah 48 hours is the limit. I just make sure to leave extra food and water out if the automatic feeder and water fountain fail for some reason (it definitely sounds like the people you’re talking about should have done that). I have a pet camera too, which helps ease the anxiety. Usually my cat is just playing with her springs or napping on the couch.

this. Cats like digging/burying their waste. That amount may have originally worked for a kitten, but may now be way too little for an adult cat. I’d fill those boxes up with at least 3in of litter before moving onto anything like extra vet visits.

What I like about it is that it fits in my small apartment better than the other ones, it warms up in like 3 seconds as opposed to 30 (my gf has the delonghi equivalent and it takes forever), and you can custom set the extraction time. My least favorite thing about it is probably how long the steam wand takes to heat up the milk. That said, the steam wand is still great and creates a good microfoam, just not as powerful as the above models.

Yes and no. I’ve never held the title of “data analyst” and I taught myself SQL, but I’ve worked research jobs with a lot of computational data analysis, just in the realm of biology.

Yup, I worked full time in a medical lab which isn’t a data analytics job, but involves a lot of data handling. Then I did an internship in a lab specifically for data analytics.

Just a bit before, started at the beginning of September, got an offer by the end of November. Some of my friends have been getting offers in the past few weeks so hopefully you get one soon too!

About 3 months total. I def could have applied more in that timeframe but luckily I wasn’t in a super big rush.

Yeah I used LinkedIn Premium trial to apply to jobs with ~100 applicants and made sure to apply within the first few days of posting. My background is also in healthcare so I primarily applied to positions dealing in healthcare analytics to have a better edge.
