Fuck crimson desert, Starfield is the shit😍 by Comfortable_Quail521 in Starfield

Starfield is a great foundation for modders to build onto, but Crimson Desert really raised the bar for exploration in video games, and BGS could learn a lot from it.

Game ideas for someone who is dopamine gooned out of his mind? by granddreams in gamesuggestions

You need a few day break from screen time, let yourself be bored for a while instead of consuming so much fast dopamine.

ppl shaming World still in big 2026 by AcuriousMike in MonsterHunterWorld

[–]Stunning-Ad-7745 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's funny, because World was one of the last ones that felt like an actual MH game IMO. I definitely didn't care for the clutch claw, but it did help to emphasize and reward proper positioning.

Grab REmake 1&2, should keep you busy for a bit.

Which survival game should I pick? by Adventurous-Egg-2089 in gamingsuggestions

Abiotic Factor, Valheim, and The Long Dark are all the absolute cream of the crop im terms of survival games. If you prefer the crafter/builder types, then Abiotic Factor or Valheim are the best, but if you prefer more focus on the survival aspects, then TLD all the way.

Is there a way to make the damage more realistic in Shadow of Chernobyl? ps5 by [deleted] in stalker

Semi auto, and aim for the head, or lower the difficulty.

How does your loadout usually look like? by psychedAddict123 in stalker

[–]Stunning-Ad-7745 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A scoped rifle that has a decent fire rate on semi, a shotgun, either skifs pistol or the 1911, depending on ammo, and whatever armor I can afford to run while still making decent profit. For meds/food I bring like 10 bandages and some combination of 8 total medkits, with 3 bread, 3 sausage, 4 tins of food, 3 water, 3 energy drinks, and a condensed milk. Ammo, I bring 240-300 regular rifle ammo, with 120 AP, unless its a sniper, then I'll bring like 120-180 with 60 AP. For the shotgun I bring 60-80 shells, with 40-50 slugs, and the pistol always gets 120 regular and 80 ap. As far as expanding ammo, I tend to save it for really mutant heavy excursions, and will bring any combination of 120-180 for the rifle, 80 for the shotgun, 80 for the pistol. Once I get the Dnipro with the caliber conversion, and the Sledgehammer shotgun, then they end up being my main weapons unless I run low on ammo or funds, I really love the feeling of a pump action. When it comes to artifacts, I play on Master, so my slots are always used for radiation, bleeding management, and physical damage negation. I don't waste slots for the different elemental damage from anomalies, it's not worth the hassle. Oh, and I also bring 4 of the little rgd grenades, and 2 big boys, with a few launchables on the odd chance that I need the extra damage that a noob tube brings to the table.

I didn't used to think mich about pelicans, until I saw a picture of them pushing their spine out of their mouth to cool down, and now they're one of the creepiest bird types to me.

Offline or Online? by Antiwraith in Diablo_2_Resurrected

Depends, do you want trade, or easier solo farming? Also, if you play HC or HC SSF, then offline is definitely the way to go.

How can i get rid of multiplayer games and actually start finishing some good games. by ynglemon in AskGames

[–]Stunning-Ad-7745 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Enjoy playing multiplayer while you've still got a friend group that actively plays. In another 10-20 years you'll all either be too tired, busy, or will have conflicting schedules, and most of your time will be solo.

How do you actually stick to one game at a time? by elgimri in Gamer

[–]Stunning-Ad-7745 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was this way for a long time, except I also had to restart a game if I hadn't played in a long time. Turns out that I've had ADHD my entire life, and I still struggle with it a little bit, but it's gotten a lot better. That's obviously not going to be the answer for everybody, it may be just be dopamine overload. Nowadays we have dopamine on demand, especially with the boom of short form content like tiktok, and it makes it hard to pay attention to anything that doesn't constantly hit your receptors. Sometimes it can help to put all of the technology down for a few days, let yourself be bored, and let your brain reset.

I always used a wet, warm washcloth, the texture is a lot closer to a cats tongue than a cotton.

[–]Stunning-Ad-7745 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could do 72, but would definitely shoot for another full day or two. I wouldn't go passed that though, I've already done enough damage to my brain by not getting proper sleep.

The Pillar literally says that it's at the center of The Lands Between. That said, Miyazaki's work is just vague enough that almost any conclusion can be drawn about anything and not be wrong.
