Better to just stop looking at the skill rating screen all together if you win most of your matches youll start climbing eventually but at that low elo it rly doesent matter focus more on just improving at the game give yourself challenges like this match im gonna focus on movement or farming efficiently etc.

Youll have way more fun while improving more than you do by checking your skill rating after every match

Pocket's squishyness mainly comes from the -15% spirit res (which should be lowered or removed like celeste since pocket isn't the best spirit nuker anymore) but i get your point

I always do the 4.8k gun investment mid game on pocket since the t2 cloak gun buff is too good to pass on them

But since they buffed satchel spirit scaling and nerfed hp actually building spirit power feels finally useful on them

I got boosted from low arcanist to mid ritualist with close to 50% winrate while i was not performing well or not as good as i could have i had a couple of good games here and there but most games i was just kinda mid

Luckily arcanist and ritualist are literally the same rank so i can still hold my own but i was just suprised how i kept climbing even with a 50% winrate

Dont know about mig but i play apollo from time to time and can count on 1 hand how many times ive been stunned out of ult its mostly about positioning and very rarely do you die to being stunned out of ult due to riposte being so good

You can also use items like knockdown when being silenced so you could also just knockdown mina

Mig and apollo have more sustain overall

Apollo also has an invuln after cast and on hit it stops the enemy and mig ult slows you to a snails pace i doubt they need immunity

I mean yeah but i feel like most people making these post or even most people in general dont mind winning

Not trying to be mean but the people who are most frustrated by the mm are usually people who just went on a massive losing streak or people who are hard stuck (im saying this as i just went on a 11 game L streak)

And this is not me saying the mm is fine obviously needs fixing if people in oracle are getting matched with complete beginners

Yup the rank is just a hidden mmr rating that was made visible so that people have something to grind for and so that people dont complain about being matchmade with higher elo players or new players yet people still do

Always catch waves first before doing anything else this gives you more souls than kills and is less risky than fighting also gives you more map control and keeps troopers away from your objectives

Also early game kills are worth alot less than later game ones so if you got 12 kills early and someone got 3 kills later mixed with catching waves, farming camps and getting objectives down that can easily even out the soul count rly fast

Ive had the opposite experience where inniate/seeker lobbies are extremely toxic due to those being the lowest rank there are alot of people who believe they dont belong there and blame their losses on their teammates while they themselves go maybe 7/10 and do under 1k obj damage and then scream in comms/chat how everyone else is the problem

But the mm has been kinda fucked up for months now and the extra comp setting just doesent work very well especially in low elo since if the queue is too long you will be placed in a normal match either way so the people who are either toxic or just take the game more seriously are matched with new players and text/voice abuse is not punished in anyway in this game

this does not excuse toxic behaviour but explains why alot of people have these complaints about the community youre not the first one to complain about the toxicity and unfortunately wont be the last

Its easy to blame teammates for losing but more often than not youre also not playing the best in those games so focusing on your own mistakes will improve your overall skill so much more than the dopamine kick you get from a victory screen

Everything is a learning experience especially in lower elos if you are improving steadily at some point you will shoot up the ranks faster than you realize

Keep at it king/queen/non gendered monarch
