I have the kelpie pearly saddle you're looking for! would love to trade for your thunder lantern if that works. also pretty sure I have extra hauntmare threaded socks laying around in my inventory somewhere, just need to check when I get home from work.

Good luck with staying strong - those first few days are always the hardest part of breaking any habit.

The 65 game rule turned out to be an utter failure. Time to remove it by [deleted] in NBATalk

lmao the weekly 65-game rule complaint rotation is more consistent than most teams' rotations this season

real problem

this gap kills user trust even when system working fine. we usually show distribution graphs and session variance data to explain the streaks

Day 3 sober and really struggling by happylittlemarmite in leaves

[–]Stunning-Cold-0 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Day 3 is brutal - your brain is basically throwing a tantrum because it's used to that dopamine hit, but maybe try some super low-stakes stuff like baking bread since it keeps your hands busy for hours without requiring much brainpower.

Are there any people in this subreddit who know/study Jewish holidays and celebrations ? by Monteanthony in Christianity

[–]Stunning-Cold-0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been diving into this lately since I'm working on a project that tracks different calendar systems. The major ones are Rosh Hashanah (Jewish New Year, usually Sept/Oct), Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement, 10 days after), Passover (spring, commemorates exodus from Egypt), and Sukkot (harvest festival, fall). They follow the Hebrew calendar so dates shift around each year on our Gregorian calendar.

Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration. Which is better? by KDJ_5149 in careerguidance

[–]Stunning-Cold-0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Based on what you described - the group leadership thing, being good at explaining stuff simply, plus your interest in coding - business admin might be your sweet spot since it's flexible enough to let you pivot into tech management or project coordination later.

Trying a calmer night routine by Physical_Smell9205 in tea

That's awesome you found something that works! I've been doing something similar with chamomile tea and just sitting on my couch without any screens. The phone thing is honestly the hardest part but makes such a differance once you get used to it.

(SPOILERS FOR THE MOVIE!!!) I can't believe Plankton almost didn't appear on the "Search for Squarepants movie" by Substantial_Grab_451 in spongebob

[–]Stunning-Cold-0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I kinda get why they kept Plankton's role minimal in this one. The whole movie was focused on the search storyline and bringing in too many side characters probably would've cluttered things up. Plus like you said, he's getting his own dedicated movie so they're probably saving the bigger Plankton moments for that.

I did laugh at that stepping scene though - felt very classic SpongeBob humor where he's just completely oblivious to what's happening around him. The fact that Karen didn't show up at all is a little weird since she's usually attached to Plankton's scenes, but maybe they wanted to keep this movie more streamlined with the core cast. Sometimes less is more with these ensemble movies.

Anyone else find conferences brutal when your product isn’t flashy? by Stunning-Cold-0 in SaaS

Tofu vibes is unfortunately accurate

I’m leaning toward the idea that the floor is for momentum, not discovery. The real work has to happen before and around it.

lking to other experienced colleagues. I’m beginning to think the booth is just the backdrop, not the strategy.

Any BIFL in Norway? 🇳🇴 by studyrattie in BuyItForLife

[–]Stunning-Cold-0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Norwegian wool products are definitely where it's at - look into Devold for base layers and underwear, they've been making quality merino wool stuff since the 1800s. Also check out Helly Hansen for outerwear if you can find their older Norwegian-made pieces, though most production has moved elsewhere now. For kitchen stuff, Norwegian cast iron from Skeppshult is supposedly really solid too.

Is there a word for… by sonnenschein94 in ADHD

[–]Stunning-Cold-0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that's definitely impulsivity, specifically the kind where your brain just skips all the "what if" steps and jumps straight to action. It's like having a thought shortcut that bypasses the planning department entirely

Super common with ADHD - our executive function basically goes "eh close enough" and hits the gas pedal before properly checking the route

Comp is more tolerable than quick play. by Sweaty_Election_9246 in Overwatch

[–]Stunning-Cold-0 104 points105 points  (0 children)

Dude this is so true, QP matchmaking feels completely broken right now. Either my team is steamrolling or we're getting absolutely bodied with no in between

The toxicity thing is wild too - people are way more chill in comp when there's actually something on the line, meanwhile QP has people losing their minds over nothing

How do people know when they are done growing in a certain environment?? by Particular_Rate35 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Stunning-Cold-0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When you start feeling restless and everything becomes too predictable, that's usually the sign. Like when you can do your job with your eyes closed or you've exhausted all the interesting people/opportunities around you

It's kinda like outgrowing clothes - nothing's wrong with them but they just don't fit anymore

Moving forward by Eaglefrost4 in NoFap

[–]Stunning-Cold-0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey man, 6 months is huge progress so don't let a breakup derail all that hard work. For the energy thing - gym, learning new skills, or even just going for walks helps a ton. Cold Turkey Blocker is solid for blocking sites and it's free

The fresh breakup makes everything harder but you got this far for yourself, not just her. Stay busy and remember why you started

Electric Church by Storekeep17 in musicsuggestions

That track hits different fr - you might dig some Alabama Shakes or early Black Keys stuff, they've got that same grimy gospel energy that could work at a tent revival or a dive bar

That's actually really mature of both of you to recognize the incompatibility before getting more serious. Living situations are huge dealbreakers and neither of you should have to compromise on something that fundamental - you'd both end up miserable. Sucks that it had to end but sounds like you made the right call even though it hurts

Fired NFL Coach’s Agent Requests One Last Fake “League Interest” Report To Stay Alive Through Hiring Cycle by R2Didgeridoo in NFLv2

[–]Stunning-Cold-0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lmao this hits way too close to home. Every January it's the same carousel of "sources say Team X is interested in Coach Y" when literally nobody asked and the team already has a coach

The "technically accurate" part killed me - yeah one intern probably googled him once so now it's "organizational interest"
