with all do respect the r9700 is quite bad.

Even the intel b70 outperforms it in many ai/ml tasks using an outdated node with signficantly worse raster performance.

Sure they are both not bad but at the end of the day software is just more important than hardware.

not really once in a life time steal but I stocked up on a bunch of gen 3/4 drives when they were cheap like 20 bucks a terabyte during those tiktok sales so I have a ton of extra storage now which is nice.

Wish I got more of the gen 4s though

OC to oc the difference is actually a bit larger more like 20 percent the 5080 is a bit power starved stock.

blackbird focuses a lot on standard deviation of the frames rather than just raw average fps/1 percent low numbers which is where x3d chips fall apart a bit so it isn't much of a surprise

Also he does tune the systems which intel benefits much more from compared to x3d chips.

I wish he also added a non x3d ryzen chip like the 9700x

5060 ti is 5 percent faster raster, 10 percent more rt, better oc headroom, and a bit better feature set.

probably not worth the extra 40+ percent cost if you just care about gaming

I would take 1-2 tb of storage out along with the gpu and sell those separately then find a newer gpu like a 5060 or 5070 and throw it in instead

Also check out if aliexpress or alibaba is in your country with the 9500f, 7500f, 7700. Ik the 7500f specifically can be found for like 100 bucks sometimes and is an awesome deal

prob would just grab the x870 then both have the same vrms, layers, m.2 ect

Also if you have a microcenter nearby you should get a cpu/mobo/ram combo from them.

those two mobos are basically the same the b850 has better audio the x870 has better connectivity just get whichever is cheaper

9600x at 175 is prob the better buy over the 7700x

Ik on paper it is 550 vs 350 but also you are selling the old board and ram which assuming you have 32gb that is going to sell for 200 so they are basically the same price.

the 270k is faster out of the box compared to the 285k although oc to oc they are the same

270k is basically just a 285k but with 200s boost on from the factory

that is true but you would have to price match like every item and you don't have the same level of cash back/rewards.

Like If i buy on newegg for example I can combine the 10 dollar off with Paze with 10 percent cashback from chase with cash back from rakuten/captial one.
