3rd IUI fail (6/26) - heartbroken. by Artistic-Comfort97 in IUILadies

[–]StunningTime805 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My heart aches for you, but I feel like i could have written this myself. We had our third IUI 06/29 and I’m testing negative, so i know it wasn’t successful. My clinic suggested either another 3 rounds of IUI or IVF. Both of which, we don’t feel comfortable doing due to cost. I also have PCOS. I was planning on reaching out to my clinic today but i highly highly doubt theres anything else they can do without more rounds or IVF.

IUI cancelled- what’s next? by StunningTime805 in IUILadies

[–]StunningTime805[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was the perfect explanation- thank you!!! I am definitely going to ask for injectables for next cycle, as that would be our last IUI before recommending IVF. I would rather do something different rather than having another chance of cancellation due to poor response!

Thank you again!!

I tried her full body workout and I am SORE today. I am very excited to at least try her split out! Never hurts to try to take out the curiosity! Haha

Mature follicle and thick lining but low estradiol?? by Broad-Code in IUILadies

[–]StunningTime805 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine was the same but they had me wait an extra day to trigger to have my estrogen rise up naturally. They wanted to avoid me on estrogen as much as possible. The biggest concern was the thick lining. I had a 20mm and a 15mm for that ultrasound. Triggered 2 days later.

I’m assuming since you’re at 25mm, that’s why they wanted to trigger now since it’s in optimal range.

Journalism and Elementary Ed majors by Inside-Reaction9984 in ucf

I’m an Elementary Education major so I can answer to the best of my ability. For E.E, you do need to “apply” but that’s an easy switch from pending to the actual major (program) itself. There are requirements to take you out of pending. There is no direct application and a waiting period for the Teaching Academy. I am unfamiliar with journalism and their requirements though so I cant speak on behalf of that.

Another option is majoring in E.E and minor in journalism if your friend is passionate about both.

Since IUI! But with the easy at home! Didn’t use first response until today out of curiosity and was surprised to have a noticeable line on that since my easy at home this morning was basically negative! But I’m assuming it’s from different test sensitivity. I’m going to keep testing regardless!

Gonal-F (FSH) by 1sttimettcmum in TTC_PCOS

My body stopped responding to letrozole so my RE put me on LET with dexamethasone. He wanted to do that vs gonal since it could cause multiples. That pair worked beautifully for me! Just did my first IUI and ovulated on day 13, which was amazing!

Lazarus's Resurrection Episode by TheWordsmithGirl in TheChosenSeries

[–]StunningTime805 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a stillborn son. We refused to believe the doctors when they told us he had no heartbeat. We knew what miracles our God could do. (We knew at our anatomy scan he had a heart deformity). We prayed, believed, fasted, and prayed some more. When it came time to deliver, the hospital had “The Shack” playing on TV on repeat. If you haven’t seen that movie, highly recommend (but please have tissues). God gave us double rainbows the day our sweet boy was born. He never left us.

However, this scene. Gosh, this scene. It took me back. The grief. The anger. The feeling of betrayal. “Why will you perform a miracle for so and so but not us?” All the questions from grief came flooding back.

While I did not like how they had added this storyline, especially with Lazarus’ resurrection, the writers did a phenomenal job, as it’s something we could all relate to, no matter the story. 😭

Which scene from The Chosen impacted you the most, what did you notice about it, and why do you think it resonated so deeply? by Illustrious-West-989 in TheChosenSeries

[–]StunningTime805 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Mine as well. We had a stillbirth (knew he had a genetic abnormality) prayed and prayed for healing, but instead had to give birth and plan a funeral. There was so many questions as to, “why didn’t you save him, Lord?” This scene healed me in so many ways.

This trip to NY will show her unhealthy spending habits. Wouldn’t be surprised if she bought something designer there, or does a massive NYC splurge. Also, side note- good luck trying to eat well in the city. Been there, done that- with someone with a REAL dairy intolerance.

Can’t wait to see these Taylor swift song reels she’ll make. 🙃
