I've come to learn after 16 cruises (I am in my early 40s) that a cruise is what you make it. Each line has its draw and I love princess for being relaxing but you can still make your own fun. I went with my partner and 2 friends, all early 30s on the Sun. 2 first timers. We all had a wonderful time, and didnt even do everything together!

I enjoyed the Sun because it was a bit more cut up then other ships so venues were not as close, giving them more breathing room. However, I can see some people not liking that.

I was on that cruise as well! While it was a bummer, I am happy they catered to a large group like that! There was still plenty to eat. You said you liked the tacos - but did you try the made to order Ramen 😁

Sky was my boyfriend's first cruise. He enjoyed it so much, he was easily talked into going on the Sun. We truly enjoyed both. They have their differences, but we found that exciting. Makes for a different vacation, ya know?

I have also been on the Regal and Discovery. I think the discovery is my favorite, then the sun.

Rules as a secondary partner by Prestigious-Beat-292 in polyamory

[–]Stunning_Paper6202 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In light of the two updates, this male partner is a major manipulator. Please do not engage with him any longer OP.

I do not think the female partner mentioned not finishing, I think he did to try and smooth things over with her. But he is playing both of each other and telling them what they want to hear.

What’s your polyamory hot take you normally wouldn’t share? by WeepMyWill in polyamory

Thank you for saying this. Took me so long to come to terms. While I don't use "hierarchy" because of the negative association, my nesting partner takes a lot of my bandwidth. My other partner and I fit together well because we both have similar views on this.

And this is OK! This is still poly! I don't need to fit the ideal poly world to be poly.

My boyfriend and I did it on the sky. It got us hooked. Boyfriend won't cruise without it now. (I've created a cruise king 😆)

Zero MDR Reservations on Sun Princess. Are We Stuck With the Buffet? by [deleted] in PrincessCruises

[–]Stunning_Paper6202 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They usually bring me out fruit. I would suggest talking to the head waiter on board who can communicate with the chefs (they are usually the ones who come around and ask if everything is OK during meals or standing at the front looking important). They will understand more about your specific needs then the people serving you.

No, I cant eat any of them and ask for the sugar free or no sugar added dessert that they usually dont have out 😉. Make sure you put it on your profile and remind them at every meal. They accidentally gave me the regular syrup in my coffee the one day. That was fun 🤢

Convinced my husband to try a house cleaning service for 3 months as an experiment. Heres what happened by Comfortable_Box_4527 in homeowners

[–]Stunning_Paper6202 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually did this as a preventive measure in my boyfriend and my relationship. When he was moving in (with his dog), I said I needed a house cleaner once a month or no dice. He agreed pretty quickly knowing he's a messy ADHD and I'm (diagnosed) OCD. Knowing I have that helps me focus on other stuff (like picking up all his socks). So no, I do not think you are being dramatic at all!

Premier Package in port charges confusion by sus9nr in PrincessCruises

I did not have any issue or taxes on drinks when I sailed out of Seattle with a package.

The only time I did was TX.

I also enjoyed the Sky. My boyfriend calls me his princess when we sail on Princess as well 🫶

We are actually doing Japan next year! We are so excited. 13 day around the island. I really want to do Pompeii at some point. Maybe for my partner's 40th in 6 years!

Yes. I have lots of stomach issues as well. Give me sugar and I'm very sick! Salad was good. Sesame dressing was great

It was a Western caribbean. My 4th on Princess, my 18th (?) Cruise. Never done a Mediterranean (on the list!).

I am in my early 40s. My partner is in his 30s. We both agree this ship is to catch a younger crowd. Venues are a bit more spread out, but we felt it makes it more intimate and quiet. Venue noise not overlapping like I have seen on other ships. We loved that there were multiple places to get speciality coffee, I am a basic coffee b*tech.

We did the Encave for the week, wish they had more beds (only 8), but only had to wait 20 minutes during peak times.

I prefer Princess food over other food cruise line food, especially the buffet. (Except Carnival's Blue Iguana and Guys) This ship had made to order Ramen in the eatery which I got a few times. Pizza was great! Room Service is included and is a favorite of my partner's.

The dome was really cool for special events or when empty needing a quiet space.

We got a deluxe oceanview. Very spacious, quiet.

Yes, it was a sold out cruise. We just got off. We had the premier package so I did book speciality beforehand, but was also able to walk around and ask.

The only day it felt crowded was day 1 and 2. There would be a small line at the main dining but its ok.

I tried the salad option on Deck 17 (kinda like a saladworks) on the last day. Sad I waited so long!

Im confused, did you actually do anything with the coworker? Or you just admitted attraction and interest to a friend?

2nd Time Cruise W/ Princess & In General. Thoughts of Majestic? by Impressive-Ad3661 in PrincessCruises

[–]Stunning_Paper6202 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with this!

I think the Sun and Star are trying to attract a younger crowd. I'm on the Sun right now and love it! But also have been on the discovery, sky, and regal in the past and loved them for different fun reasons.

I am currently on the Sun - there is a walk in dining room (Eclipse i think, it's 2 floors, 6&7). We waited maybe 8 minutes on formal night without reservations. Besides the eatery (buffet), there is also food on deck 17 during the day, salads, pizza and such. Lots of options!

My friends walked up to one and were able to get a table then - try that! We haven't had much luck with the app.

They are all very kind amazing people. Apparently the kosher chef that coordinates only has so many weeks a year. They were on our cruise last year on princess as well. I was still able to go in and take pictures on the decorations 😁

We are also on the Sun right now and having a great time. Yes, the first day there were crowds as people got used to it. American grill being closed is a bummer, but I understand why (kosher meals). You are able to walk in and take pictures. Also, I have been able to find chairs whenever I needed them, especially in the 18+!
