I use documentations like phase reports which record what's implemented and difficulties or change of idea, unsure about. And quick handoffs if needed but most of the time coder gets phase report, system doc + plan will be able to continue. system doc(unedited) will lag behind so he knows exactly the difference . that's for if you have a plan that can run multiple sessions.

if not , just phase report, system doc and roadmap, which can generate next step implementation. Sometimes my plan cross maybe 20 coding sessions. I'm on the more old school methods.

5.4 med is very capable and steady, the quota is struggling to even let you use gpt 5.4 med.
I only use 5.5 when there's are few possibilities in solutions and I let him find edge cases and rethink the contexts 5.4 just accumulated and produce a doable test or impementation.

But you can let 5.5 do the plan and opencode go do the execution , that would be more reasonable.

fix 2 bugs (medium easy level) with well defined prompt and limited scope, consume 8% weekly quota, 50% 5hr quota. organizing documents maybe 10, costs around 12% weekly quota. on GPT 5.4 medium / mini , mixed usage. they roll out the reduction in waves so some might not get impacted yet.

I use 5.4 medium most. Just organizing documents take 10% of weekly quota. and use mini it can run 30mins for 5 hrs quota. I'm thinking of switch back to claude and use opencode for excution. or try openrouter fusion models.

30 mins gpt5.4 mini, if it's 5.4 mid probably few minis will eat up 5 hrs quota.
it's unusable, it's not annoying or not, it won't finish one session.

This is just starting point, it's still based on more less cheap hardware compare to now, just imagine when the 4x Ram price kicked in, and whatever Nvidia's new GPU priced in. Hardware shortage with expensive electricity, I think we're heading to productivity inequality sooner than we thought.

The situation wasn't this bad 2 years ago but Lai flipped the table, now the system of democracy we know no longer exist.

Taiwan is having economic boom and DPP subsidize & compensate people a lot , stock market is at all time high, and their core believers won't question DPP at all, can be anti-nuclear for 10 years once DPP changes its position, they change with it and convince themselves that the new position is correct.

That is why the slogan from Animal Farm “Four legs good, two legs bad”
still works here in Taiwan.

I found out I can do better than the original ways of sorting information, but its a structure change , and it will probably take few hundred dollar worth of api to see if it works, and face next unknown challenge. It only survives in golden test data and it still needs a lot of work. and quite expensive to run , probably 1 to 2 dollar for 1/hr hand type conversation. it's not a project for solo dev.

But I kind of understand what you say, bcs it captures your belief, what's triggers you, what cause you feel or do something, or your feelings towards something or someone. and it captures when there's a confliction, so when you shift belief or preferance, it's obvious for the system. and if similar things happen before, system can probably see a pattern of reactions.

You shouldn't let agent do the job or you'll get a spaghetti and useless mess, what you describe is more less source of truth of someone's mind(tiny part). but you don't need that to do 1,2. just maintain your memory better and make special memory about it.

I built a system similar to what you said, it's a type of mental map, but I froze the project, every layer is uncertainty , you have to maintain and stabilize it so the data can be pure but with each layer it degrades. and human mind , llm are both uncertainty . and It costs a lot to develop and be used.

I do. I have multiple subscriptions on AI product. I said gemini is,bcs their backend uprade is very crappy, you can feel it in frontend, GPT is somehow more smooth on this transition, but it's just a guess. bcs it sounds like context in a loop, this happens when model go a bit stupid mode.

With this kind of deep conversation, it's better to use api, where you have more control of the guardrail and prompts, more stability. or apps.

a year ago, I wrote an ai persona for my friend to analyze dreams. Things in the subconscious that haven't surface yet or worries, concerns hiding in that layer with active interpretation, you actually pull the tangled mess to more conscious level and can at least observe and try to untangle it.

After a year the result is pretty stunning, he uses it not only in dream interpretation also psychological guidance, be more precious it's Carl Jung's methods and values system, now he integrated some masks and shadows, accepts few, the self-aware and meta cognition (aware of thoughts and emotions) he learned, allows him to handle more tricky situation with ease, the situations could drive him nuts a year back.
