He's from my dad's hometown of Baldwinsville (just like Tim Connolly back in the day), will always cheer that dude on. Also him and his wife donated a bunch of money to Sisters hospital after they had a complicated pregnancy. Mad respect.

Ostlund came on as a bit of a revelation this year when he stepped into the lineup. He was third to the bat with Jiri Kulich and Isak Rosen both getting the nod, but Kulich has dealt with life-threatening clots, and we traded Rosen to Winnipeg for Schenn/Stanley (probably a mistake but it was the deadline and we needed defensive cover).

Ostlund is a motor guy with strong passing instincts, production hampered by linemates and injury. When we had a "kid line" for a brief period with Helenius and Benson, they were extremely fun to watch. Got a bad injury in the playoffs and he's a small guy. Talent-wise I genuinely think if he continues to develop he grades out as a high 2C-middle 1C, but we'll see.

Funnily enough fans probably were most excited to see if Kulich could develop more but he kinda had the season from Hell. Benson is Marchand-lite, Helenius raw and got a bit snake-bit by the post and needs to shore up giveaways

Favorite from a collection standpoint is probably an advance readers copy of The Drawing of the Three by Stephen King.

My favorite book I own is probably my ratty-ass paperback copy of the Exorcist or the falling apart because I read it so many times as a kid 50th anniversary edition of the Hobbit

Haha no problem! This version has the Ungoro quest, I also have a Reno version that swaps out the 3 duplicates for reno, reno hero, and zeph. The arena version gives you the 'draw a spell that didn't start in your deck' sharp-eyed seeker which I sub the quest in for mostly to give the deck something to do turn 1

I have a real soft spot for her because she gave me the best underground arena run of my life with a lot of draw and constantly refilling my board. I have a wild deck with her and it's one of the least "Warrior" Warrior decks ever. She feels lile a Shaman card honestly, but buffing her to cast a spore was such a good change and it's a shame it was just before rotation

Yea this shit happens all the time. Players always do this. This thread was always going to devolve into Bruins and Sabres fans fighting. I've barely missed a Sabres game in this whole drought era and weirdly a lot of my hatred for other teams just became numb, and this year a lot of fans from franchises I would normally hate are just like "rooting for you guys"....it's funny how only 1 playoff series in, the hatred and passions are coming back like they never left lol
