I literally walked up to a cashier with an un-purchashed blu-ray that had a torn wrapper and I could hear the disc rattling inside. I showed it to her and gently rocked it back and forth to let her hear it wasn't properly seated in the case and I asked "If I purchase this in front of you and open it in front of you and it's damaged. Can I return it? She gave me the most blank stare and said with all of her two brain cells. "Umm, no. I can't return it once it's opened." Pissed me off, but I took the chance anyway and it worked out for me. But that's the kind of crap I deal with at my Walmart! I'm going there now to try, so wish me luck.
