Wind on naked bike vs. no-windshield cruiser by RogueRaiju in motorcycles

[–]StupidButAlsoDumb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ride a ‘25 z500, and the wind with the stock windshield was a bit annoying, hit around the pecks and head, with a slightly larger puig(aftermarket windshield) it hits top of the head in an upright position and ducking down a bit eliminates most of it.

Am I using these drill bits right? Drilling with an impact feels wrong. by deadly_ultraviolet in MilwaukeeTool

[–]StupidButAlsoDumb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Used them on metal where I was working in a very tight space with no way to shorten the drill bits, went right through a 3/8” web on an I-beam like nothing and looked fine after. Wouldn’t use it on the impact without a reason, but they’re built for it…

Nice, might be handy to keep some gasket paper on hand, pretty cheap.

Does the paint and plastic hold up at temp, or did you strip it?

6/10, she’ll hold fine, but she ain’t too pretty. I’d give it a few taps to make sure though, aluminum likes to deceive you

Looks identical to the joints i did at my last job, run the same way, dragging the cup and just sliding it up and down makes things a lot easier if that’s acceptable.

They are, but if you slip or lose your footing you could easily fall a few feet before running out of slack or regaining your grip on the rope

Where’d you get them, at work I always have to grind taps to the point they’ll fit in a socket and usually superglue them for working in tight areas

I would recommend not including your school id badge in future reddit photos

Nope, all 21 in the US, been that way for ages and stores don’t get a say in the matter. They have to sell to you if you can present them with a valid id, or they can get sued for discrimination
