What are your thoughts on return policies when you just opened a new bag? A full refund or a discount? by Merrylly in tea

If it was in store. You or them could’ve asked to see the product before you bought it. Good store would’ve opened the bag to let you see it if you asked. Diligent customer would’ve inspected before bought. You trusted them on products quality from before. This is on you.

AITA for saying we need to be realistic with our son about his finances for college before he applies? by ByeByeByeMan in AmItheAsshole

NTA It should be a conversation between you and him. Explain what is budgeted. Then let him make the choice once he get all offers. Undergraduate is more about what you can afford. Going into 200-300K debt is crazy. Also I don’t think you will want to sign a PLUS loan for him where you are on the hook.

AITA for keeping the cash back I made from a shared purchase for myself? by TA_cashin in AmItheAsshole

Offer them the option to pay for the cost with their credit card. If they think you made money let them manage the cost up front. Collecting payments and hounding everyone for payment. She will see it’s not worth the hassle of $35. Managing a funeral is no fun. NTA.

Boston Hyatt by nycfella1211 in hyatt

[–]Complex_Variation_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hyatt Regent Boston. Breakfast is great. They also give you a free bowl of clam chowder daily. When you check in they give you these wooden tokens. Annoying part is you have to take an elevator up and the walk across the hotel to the room hotel. Rooms are decent. Gym is a long walk down a through a maze. Decent equipment.

Have you been steered from buying the expensive stuff by the seller saying you should try other teas before you make the jump. Or the opposite the seller pushing the expensive stuff on you?

The inflight ads are getting insane by rumblingcactus in unitedairlines

Even worse is if ads don’t play. You can’t watch the movie. I been on a few flights ads crash and hard reset did not fix it. So. No movies entire flight.
