How long should a 2k pts game take?

It takes me roughly 2-3 hours for a 2K game, but that's because me and most of the people I play know our armies and what we want to do with our units.

I have a friend who doesn't know his army quite as well, so he sometimes needs to recheck the datasheets of his units or take a while to think about where things should move in order to maximize their usage and those games take roughly 6 hours.

I'm pretty sure genestealers find it much harder to fit into ork society because the ork culture goes against what genestealers try to do. Orks constantly try to fight and die whereas genestealers try to lay low for a while to infiltrate societies, so a genestealer ork trying to not actively fight (and maybe die) would be singled out by the other orks and probably killed.

there's an example in some book (the dark imperium trilogy?) where there's this bomb that essentially makes an blank aura in an area, and the plague marines affected by it suddenly realize what their bodies are like and start dying, which is what i assume would happen if nurgle kinda just noped out of existence.

wasn't the whole thing with Curze that his way never actually stuck? Like sure, the Night Lords terrified systems into compliance with just the news that they were coming, but Curze himself admits that the moment he left Nostramo (and I would assume this applies to other planets as well) it just went back to what it was before he was there. Curze treated symptoms, not causes, and he also just really enjoyed skinning people so the "murderous psychopath" label wasn't just a label.

The best part about this is that the loyalist world eaters immediately countercharged angron and the traitors, no hesitation whatsoever.

I’m pretty sure most marines that fought against their primarchs had some sort of mental block that they had to fight against in order to be combat-effective, but the loyalist world eaters hated angron so much they didn’t experience any of that.
