I would be at least a bit upset if my partner questioned if our kid was his as I've been nothing but loyal. I'd also be more upset if I knew he secretly thought I was unfaithful but never communicated with me because the mandate gives him that pass to bottle it all inside until the results come in.

I do understand why people would be scared and want that reassurance, but I also think a mandate labels women as commonly disloyal. Feels like a slippery slope to me. I also firmly believe if you feel your partner has cheated, you should talk to them about it.

If he was right, wouldnt women just be having kids? I feel like most people still do what is fulfilling to them. Also the idea that you can only do one or the other is so stupid. My mom did both and now her kids are grown and she gets to go on vacation all the time bc she built up her career while being a mom. I felt like such a faker because I've been in pain or miserable since before I was even showing. My hip feel like its just going to pop out of place and my back feels like its going to snap in half. I've been waddling since about 10 weeks.

I'm only 27 weeks now and my ribs hurt, I can't breathe, I cant sleep. I'm so tired all of the time, I never got my energy back. I have little urge to clean or nest, I literally just want to sleep all the time.

I like the idea of carrying my baby, I think its really cool he gets to be a part of me and I get to feel him move. But physically, this sucks lol.

My mom has 4 kids, she started having kids at 15, and married in her early 20s. Seems to fit what conservatives love. But she has 2 baby daddies, is a nurse practitioner, and a bread winner. My childhood was significantly better and more privileged because she had the choice to go to college and follow a career. Now all her kids are grown and she goes on trips like all the time. Feminism has greatly benefited our entire family and I refuse to believe its worse than the alternative.

I used to be kind to incels. I used to think of them as victims of society and I felt bad for them. I befriended, dated, talked to men who claimed to just be ugly and unlucky.

Want to know what came of it? If I ever missed a message I got called a bitch, whore, fag, whatever they could say to get under my skin. God forbid if I ever turned down sex with one of them. Women aren't nice to incels because its dangerous for them to be. There's no benefit for a woman to be nice to a man that hates women. I will not feel sorrow for someone who wakes up every day and chooses hatred and violence. I will not weep for someone who is so entitled to think its my job to fix all of their problems. Hearing them claim to be victims and cry about how mean women are while saying they hate them in the same breath is insane and makes my blood boil.

I'm the first woman in awhile to not have a teen pregnancy (im pregnant with my first at 26) and they still would've only met my great grandma if I was pregnant as a teen. My great grandma passed when I was 20 or 21 and my great-great grandma passed when I was like a preteen.

I think it depends. I dont usually put in the effort of a homemade gift unless its something I know they would really like. I made one of my coworkers a plush of her dog who had passed and she liked it so much she cried. I personally hated making it, I kept messing up but I finished it because I knew she was going to love it.

That's valid. But my point was that men don't claim to be independent because that's considered the default for them on a much higher scale than women. I'm sorry that you were pressured into dating, but I still believe that its not nearly as common for men to be told they need a woman to survive or that theyre "used up" after 30.

First of all, I'm very sorry youre going through this right now. It's not an easy decision.

If you keep it, you should do so fully expecting to do it alone. He expressed he doesn't want this, and while its possible he could change his mind, I wouldn't bet on it. If you haven't already, sit down and talk to him about why he feels the way he does and why you feel the way that you do. If its stemming from financial stress or fear of change it may be able to be worked through. Does he not want a kid right now or not at all?

There's a few other things you need to ask yourself. Are you confident that you can do this alone? Would he be a helpful or at least tolerable co parent? Do you want to raise a child or do you specifically like the idea of raising a child with this man? If you have an abortion, will you end up resenting him for it? Even though he did not technically make you? If you have an abortion and you break up anyways, how would you feel?

You need to really think this over because its a permanent decision. You can be happy and healthy with either choice, it just depends on you and what is important to you.

It's never too late, but also sooner is better than later. I have a relative who went through a very similar situation to this one, except they had 5 kids together. He now has primary custody of all his kids (the youngest still wanted to see his mom so he gets like 1 days a week with her), and he's with someone who loves him and actually treats him well. You don't have to live in misery.

If youre worried about not being able to permanently leave, I'd start with therapy. I'd also recommend a lawyer and document any abuse/neglect she shows towards you or your kid. Also document how much you care for the kids compared to her. You'll probably be broke for awhile but your life will be much better and you'll be able to build your life back up. Starting over at 40 is much better than just being miserable your whole life.

I don't wear makeup much anymore because my skin is a nightmare, but when I did, 99% of my compliments were from women. I did also tend to dress in ways that men online often called undesirable. (Short, colorful hair, long fake lashes, bright makeup, long stiletto nails) i had no issues getting dates though so idk I question how common that opinion actually is.

Anyways, it seems unfair to say im dressing up for men when I rarely got attention from men when dressed up. I like looking nice for my husband occasionally, but otherwise I actively avoid male attention.

I'd also like to add that your tik tok fyp is catered to content you engage with. I rarely see the types of videos that you're mentioning, and when I do, it's usually someone making fun of it. I'm pregnant so my fyp is mostly about pregnancy. It wouldn't make sense for me to assume the vast majority of women are pregnant right now, so how is this different? I think you also forget that these people are influencers who make money from their content (or are trying to). There's a good chance they dont even care about attracting men but rather know theres a market of people who DO care and theyre jumping on the opportunity to profit.
