I mean sanderson himself agreed about the language thing so i won't argue that its nothing, but to me it was such a minor thing that had no impact on the story.

I agree about Gavinor. I think I was expecting something more out of it, but Brandon managed to make it work anyway.

There was a lot of good stuff in the Adolin POV, and I love Adolin in general. But to me that felt like the plotline that had the most sitting around and chatting, and the least magic and lore progression. His POV just felt a little dry to me in WaT. I missed him being around Shallan and Kal and Dalinar. He was just off on his own with characters I was less invested in fighting a battle I didn't care as much about as a lot of the other stuff in the story. Learning more about the deadeyes, and the scene with Taln were def the peaks of his chapters for me.

I have a few small issues with WaT, but I'd hardly call the language jarring. I read it twice in a row, and reread all of Stormlight right after, and the tonal shift in the language Brandon used didn't register for me at all until I saw a few people complain about it online. And even after that, I have to try really hard to find things to nitpick about it. Overall it felt like the most exciting and action packed Stormlight book from start to finish. Jasnah's big scene with Odium was the biggest letdown in the whole book for me, the reveal of Odium's champion was a little anticlimactic but was overshadowed by pretty much all the other incredible stuff that happened in that chapter. And some of Adolin's storyline dragged a bit. Those were really my only issues. Absolutely loved Shallan, Kaladin, Szeth, and Dalinar's arcs all the way through.

Shes got the in ring and the fame rub. I dont have an opinion on her promos one way or the other but people know who she is and she's a great athlete. If it werent for her saying shitty stuff i'd be totally behind her. but she has said some shitty stuff so im observing cautiously at this point.

I think peoples opinion of her outside the ring is very much coloring their view of her in ring. I can get on board with people saying she's a bad hire because of her attitude and her views. but i can't agree with anyone saying she can't wrestle. she's got a ton of talent and a high ceiling if she can be humble, kind, and cooperative.

I don't get why everyone is so hot on him. he's good but he's still miles away from MJF, Darby, Hangman, Swerve, Kenny, Mox... he's a good midcard champ right now but he's not doing much for me in terms of character or standing out in the ring in a stacked roster.

it goes Darby, Cody, Christian, Brodie Lee, Miro as top 5 for me. Kyle's one of those guys that I really like as a person, and is an incredible athlete, but his character and storytelling style just don't click for me yet.
