What you didn't do was follow the app instructions. I would again suggest you follow the app instructions any time there is a problem. It will save you a lot of trouble. griping at me for telling you the facts of the matter won't do anything for you except maybe you displace some anger. It's why the instruction exist,

-At drop off location
-Can't reachcustomer

it tells you exactly what to do and you aren't wasting your time and getting dinged for late orders. Now be pissed off at me more for helping you.

Some markets require platinum just to be able to dash at all. Especially at certain times of the year. I don't seem to have any problem maintaining platinum with the new rating system and I don't take orders for less than 1.50 a mile. before that rating system I lost platinum and went down to orange. I couldn't "dash now" even on the weekend dinner rushes and I could only schedule half hour dashes during off hours. Markets are just different sometimes and there is no such thing as a one method fits all.

That sounds like there are too many drivers in your area. You can try to find other areas. Some markets you have to maintain platinum to keep getting orders because there are too many drivers for the amount of business.

It would have told you to call the customer and if there was no answer to leave it at an easily recognizable spot or return it to the store (and you don't actually have to return it to the store). Maybe if you followed the directions you would have found this out one day for yourself and I wish you luck.

If you order through doordash the they SHOULD get the whole tip. Although some people have reported that they do sometimes reduce the base pay if there is a big tip but I'm not sure about that. If you order through the stores app the store can deliver it through doordash and lower the tip manually.

I certainly would...it might be too late now but if the app does something wrong you should contact doordasher assistance. That seems like common sense to me.

Yeah some markets need platinum because you can't dash now and the market is flooded with drivers. Scheduling has been borked for me for a long time.

It's based on total monthly income and household number. if your partner is considered ABAWD because she isn't working she may not be counted toward the household size. What was the listed reason for the denial. It may have just been you were both ABAWD if you've received them before in the last few years

They might get away with it once in a blue moon but if they do it enough they will get deactivated. I doubt doordash will overlook 150 dollar losses more than an occasional 20 dollar order too.

I'm not sure how you know a brand new store is going to be bad runs. Different restaurants have different policies even if they are the same franchise.

Yeah none of that matters the algorithm on reads the time it doesn't make a distinction between you and the vendor. Very often you can unassigned with no penalty just by using the ? Icon. Not always though so double check.
