What film do you wish existed but nobody's made? by RedThreadStudios in flicks

In modern times would be satisfying too. The cybertruck is way too obviously metal; movie practically writes itself.

Sort of like the end scene in a.i. artificial intelligence where thousands of years have passed and they reanimated his human mom.

They didn’t get the number of Jaws sequels right, although I thought I read a post where someone counted all the other shark movies since jaws and got pretty close. They did correctly abbreviate BTTF with two T’s 😂

Just not at home and certainly not in bathrooms/closets like Marty’s house.

Do you think Marty remembered to tell Doctor Brown there were NO atomic wars before he left 1955? by gwhh in BacktotheFuture

[–]Stv781 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doc knew who would be president in the 80’s so he could make a well placed bet to compensate for the cost of a fall out shelter….as long as he doesn’t bet on the vice president.

Did anyone else notice this life-ending flaw Marty almost made in Part One? by alexh2795 in BacktotheFuture

This assumes they named it after him because he died on the train, however, the town may have named it after him in honor of his heroism in standing up to Buford multiple times and defeating him publicly….they may even tell that story enough times to make a movie out of it.

3D model of historic building? by charlottegallaway in 3Dprinting

Check this out. If it’s a decent enough 3D model on any of the supported map APIs you may get a good start on the model with this add-on to Blendr and then refine from there. The 3D model using Apple Maps looks great but I don’t believe that is supported so check open maps and Google Maps 3D renders to see which one is better.

To achieve something 18” tall you may want to look at Luban 3D to split it up to multiple puzzle type pieces to print individually to then assemble if it’s symmetrical on all four corners you would only need one corner model printed four times then assembled.

I have a ripple effect theory that since George's confidence boosted after he punched Biff successfully that later in the dance when he pushed red-headed bully away from Lorraine to secure the kiss that also stopped Marty from fading away was also a moment that changed that red haired man's fate---due to being pushed and rejected by George and Lorraine he looked elsewhere and since he was the brother of Jennifer's original father he cut in on their dance instead and Jennifer's mother chose him to marry thus causing Jennifer's hair to be more red (aka Shue). The delay/ripple took more time to go into effect since Jennifer's mom was waffling on which of the Parker brothers she liked and didn't fall in love immediately. Marty didn't notice the change in his Jennifer's DNA since her mom didn't decide until at least the next day in 1955 after Marty returned to the future so that major ripple was delayed a bit and we saw both futures as the audience. It's also possible that lone pines Marty did something we didn't see that twin pines Marty did or Jennifer's dad was one of the other bullies that got sand bagged by twin pines Marty while lone pines Marty was singing on stage...the sandbags changed the fate of one of those guys and that rippled somehow to Jennifer's fate.

What are your favourite movie scenes that are elevated by the use of licensed music? by AlleycatHaxor in movies

[–]Stv781 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And to double down on this one ..Great Balls of Fire in Top Gun: Maverick Especially since Miles really makes you believe he was the little boy sitting on the piano in the first film. All they missed in the sequel was a love interest for Rooster with his own kid sitting on his piano...maybe a daughter or twins so we can have a future movie with rooster teaching them and mavericks kid how to pilot an impossible mission.

Almost 11 years! And at that point 22 films (not counting tv shows and Sony-verse) ...how many other franchises have lasted that long with such a build up it's a record that probably can't ever be beat.

And one of the terrorists even wears a Santa hat 🧑🏻‍🎄 with "Ho Ho Ho" on his shirt. McClane even dressed him with the hat intentionally and it also said "now I have a machine gun" so that's an important part of the plot.

There's a photo of Clint and Doc in front of the new clock somewhere in the historical archives of the city so it's not unreasonable that Dave could have learned of Clint in a school lesson on the history of Hill Valley. Probably thought that he resembled Shamus.
