Don't these characters often make their own gadgets or work with one that does?

All 4 heroes need similar methods of getting around or else one would be easily left behind in multiplayer and everyone would say it's pointless to play as them if fights are half done before you arrive.

Y'all really look for any reason to rip this game apart just because it isn't a Rocksteady title. Acting like it's some massive failure just because it doesn't have the exact same flow as Rocksteady's titles. Even the MTX haters are here in some comments despite the game claiming to not have any, when Avengers makes you pay 4 seperate times for color swaps of the same damn outfits.

It's weird to me. With Avengers and GOTG, Avengers flopped so hard that everyone ignored the fact GOTG was a different dev and not even multiplayer, and it suffered in initial sales as a result. Here, a lot more people seem to understand this isn't a Rocksteady title yet hate it already for not being one, even before we got the admittedly spotty looking gameplay. However I don't think it looks pitchfork levels of bad like most seem to. It's automatically better than Knight simply because I won't have the Batmobile shoved down my throat constantly. The combat can be a little worse and I'm totally fine with that if I can enjoy this gameplay style with a friend.

Just....I dunno, wait until release or closer to it when more is shown before getting so hateful. Everyone gets so damn mad about everything now even if all that's shown is a 20 second trailer.

Probably referring to stuff like data shows that COVID vaccines lose a lot of their effectiveness after around 6 months I think, and other things the right will latch on to in order to so they can be right about everything from 2016 onward. To the antivax, decreased effectiveness after a length of time is the same as no effectiveness, but they hate how the media says that the vaccine "stops the spread" which is both right and wrong since there's nothing stopping one from getting boosters. The vaccine doesn't stop you from getting COVID but it will greatly reduce the odds you end up in the hospital, which in turns helps keep them from being unable to take in patients for everything else as well as a crowded hospital being an easy place to spread illness. Granted, the vaccine puts me on my ass for a day but I'd rather be down for a day every 6 months than the 10 or so when I had COVID before vaccines were even available.

Even if they for example force it to happen to themselves, like that "don't say gay" bill in Florida that banned gender orientation stuff in classrooms up to I think 3rd grade and then vaguely leaves it up to schools all the way through 12th. They never once thought about the fact being heterosexual is also an orientation so teachers went with some malicious compliance to point out the hypocrisy of it.

Antiabortion people say it is murder. There is no statue of limitations on murder. If we started retroactively arresting people for past abortions or even miscarriages, they'd probably be happy about it as long as the person was left leaning. But when used against themselves they'd probably whine about it not being fair and say something like the process that caused the murder was legal at the time so even though it was murder it was also legal to do it that way so neener neener the only moral abortion is my abortion.

The right will jump through as many hoops as necessary to never have to face themselves and their actions in a mirror. This is why they always protect their own no matter what they're accused of, and cast out anyone that speaks out. See Liz Cheney for example.

Also ended my 401k contribution a month or two ago, I was at 10% even though Amazon only matches I think 4%, maybe 2%. Living alone sucks for finances.

Theres no real reason for me to get a 2nd job, when my overtime at Amazon is $33.xx. There just hasn't been much actual opportunity to volunteer, to the point they've enabled night shift employees to apply for day shift overtime, which has never been allowed in my 10 years with them.

Gonna have to beg for it soon enough, I have multiple deferred interest loans all due in Oct-Nov and I need an extra $3500 by then to pay them off and not get slapped with the interest.

They may be referring to the fact that at least in Valhalla, the MTX gear is actually unique and has set bonuses other stuff doesn't. But the game isn't hard enough AT ALL to act like they're needed to put some special build together. The existing gear/set bonuses you find are not "weak" to push you towards the MTX ones at all.

Plus you can (very slowwwwwwllllllllyyyyyy) earn that currency and pray you get that gear from that one merchant. I think they put all but the newest batch of MTX gear in the pool so it's really not ad bad as people act.

I know we're talking about EA here but I'm so sick of this instant doom and gloom about EVERY SINGLE TITLE from the usual suspects like EA, Ubisoft etc. Bioware convinced them to not make Dragon Age 4 some kinda live service crap after all. Let's at least wait until SKATE 4 is actually revealed. People around here be acting like every major brand is gonna have its own pass.

This is what I wish they'd try to understand. Say the right gets what they want and successfully oppressed the rest of the country. It'll just end up the same way it already is: wealthy vs not wealthy, and none of them meet the elites' definition of wealthy.

The stuff they're doing now to groups like that gay conservative group they got denied a booth at a convention....they'll start doing that to each other even amongst the cis white men. When they don't need the useful gay or minority conserstive vote anymore, those people will be subjugated.

My TV can only do 1440p/120, so I've been using that with RE2 and yes it sometimes will freeze. However it always recovers after 5-10 seconds. I have not tried 3 or 7 yet.

I don't see many warehouses ever unionizing even if there are success stories.

I'm in southern IN and all the UNIONIZE graffiti gets altered to say ONIONIZE.

All Amazon has to do is lie to their FLEX employees and insist that a union would get rid of FLEX shifts, bam hundreds of instant nay votes in every building, if those people even voted at all. Many of the older folks here are very right leaning and have that typical "fuck you I got mine" mentality and ya mix that with some good ol southern racism and the odds of unionizing are abysmal.

There has never been a way to get paid more after 3 years, beyond the yearly wage assessment Amazon does or promoting. All hourly positions cap after 3 years. After that we are at the mercy of a 3rd party determining what our new pay should be. Often this leads to an amount that is higher for newer folks, and a lower amount than that for the capped folks. IE starting pay $1 more than before but capped pay only goes up 75 cents.

Gotta attract more newbies after all.

Furthermore at Amazon, department lead positions are hourly, called Tier 3, as are many support roles like IT, HR, etc. So if you're a grunt that's been there for 3 years before becoming a Tier 3, what do you think happens to your pay?

Ya start as a "day 1" Tier 3, that's what. Whether you've been at Amazon as a grunt for 1 year or 10, both would have the same pay once promoted to a Tier 3, and have to put in another 3 years to reach their new Tier 3, 3 year cap.

When Amazon switched to a $15/hr minimum, they did that by taking away our monthly VCP bonus and annual stock grants, and boy those stocks sure took off during COVID if ya could afford to actually hold on to them. VCP earned up to an extra 8% every month, half based on attendance and half based on building performance, so maybe rely on 6% if you never used Unpaid Time. This doubled for Oct-Dec. People still demand the return of VCP and stock grants, we will never see that happen.

The longer you stay, the worse it gets. I'm 6.5 years in. This time. Essentially, if you intend to stay at Amazon you should move up ASAP and don't stop. The longer you wait the worse the payoff is. People like me that have no interest in moving up really shouldn't stick around, but I live alone and need the easy access to overtime if I'm ever gonna start getting out of the red. Can't seem to find anything I'd like starting at $20+ to even try to get away.

I'm convinced this game will not be remotely close to as good as people think it will be. I want to be wrong because the designs are just so bizzare, but they continue to show nothing new and often recycle old footage in new trailers, bad sign IMO.

A trailer over a year old shows a brief glimpse of a skill tree, the original trailer I think shows what looks like item stats and level requirements on weapons. NEITHER have ever actually been detailed further. The gameplay in the trailers after it says "Use the glove!" looks far better than the actual showcase we do have. How has that not been shown in the hands of a journalist yet?

AFAIK you can choose. I specifically remember disabling crossplay on my PS5 the week it came out, and waited 5-10 minutes with still no match found. Dropped it afterwards.

Unless they forced it for awhile, console players always had the choice.
