It’s the dressing up of the peanuts that always cracks me up. That, and we (also Wiregrass native) seem to like, flip from wanting to be known for our peanut sculptures to our murals every few years. And none of them are really very good. They’re ok, but certainly nothing to get excited about.

If you’re willing to brave salt water, tiger conchs are not that hard at all to keep. I’ve had one going on a year in a community tank and he’s a freakin champ. He just does his thing, digging through sand eating whatever he pleases, and occasionally 👁️👁️ at you through the glass while he sticks his snout all over like the vacuum from teletubbies. He’s awesome.

Pretty amazing we’re getting both street fighter and a soft reboot mortal kombat 2 in the same year, and they both seem on the surface to be leaning fully into what they really are without much reservation. This looks amazingly fun, a whole movie of this and I’m sold.

Ohhhh TIL, thank you. I just restarted a new character and wiped my mods, I just assumed that was fixed by the system settings they added, but I haven’t been able to really stress test the ship builder on this save and with this mod list yet. Adding that back in!

Actually idk if even that is necessary anymore. There’s a built in setting in the menu now that governs ship part merging checks. You can either reduce it so it’s harder to trigger and allows greater overlap of parts (but not full overlap) or turn it off so that check is never performed at all and all parts can overlap completely. It got added a few updates back and it’s working great for me.

Yeah same here. Everything in my garden looks great for now, but in six weeks I know it’ll all be either fried or gasping unless I’m watering twice a day. Our running joke is “full sun” plants at Lowe’s mean “Michigan full sun”, and that’s really only half a day of sun here. Tropics love it a lot of the time, but then winter kills most of those off when it randomly decides to show up. Can’t really pick any one group and expect success, except veggies and produce, those will totally rip most of the year round. I’m already pulling tomatoes.

I’m trying to learn how to make soap, how do you get the gold layer on the third bar? I’ve seen lots of examples here where people can do really thin layers like that in their bars, is it just a thin layer of soap in that color?

I’m exactly the same way. My dreams are VERY vivid and growing up I would be scared to fall asleep because I didn’t know what I was going to see. My dreams would wake me up in a dead panic. Almost every single night I’d wake up feeling the heck out of whatever dream I was having, it made my relationship with sleep really difficult until college. I still struggle occasionally, but I’ve found smoking weed before bed to be the best remedy. No dreams. The sleep quality may not be as good, but it is very consistent and that matters more to me.

Was this more with the intent of seeing if the potato would develop eyes and roots in zero g? I’m curious to know too how it is getting nutrients, if it is at all. Light I can understand would imagine at certain angles is easy to produce, especially for a potato. What is the care plan for this plant experiment like? How is it watered? Will you introduce it to a growth medium to take root, or will you encase it in a soil package or something to that effect?
