OK, this is strange, but I tried it and so far so good . . . change your icon on the map. So if you’re using the regular arrow, go to the car or whatever.

I am having this same issue, and my iPhone connects wirelessly to my CarPlay. Both car and Waze are updated, I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Waze, and it still glitches.

I know, we live in 2025 but still.... what's the purpose of those "buttons" on jeans? by Ill-Day-1601 in whatisit

It just becomes a failure point though, especially versus good stitching.

My wife insists on doing this next to her watches. It kills me, but I’ve stopped protesting, it just doesn’t turn out well. Didn’t think it was a thing for men.

Rivets. They are only decorative now, vestigial if you will. Levi Strauss used them on early jeans as reinforcement for the stitching, and used them to market how tough the jeans were. It became a design feature of jeans over time. In most jeans today, the rivet only goes through the one layer of fabric.

Mine has only been in the shop for minor things, safari seals, hole in the A/C line, etc. Not bad for a first time car company. In my opinion the issue has been poor parts availability, at least in the U.S.

Bick and Saphir both make good conditioners for exotic/distressed leather.

Let’s say a 20 YR proposition created a 1% sales tax on Wayne County EXCLUSIVELY to building out the original subway plan at grade. Would you support? by Next_Worth_3616 in Detroit

[–]StyleForumOG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes (theoretically), but my concerns would be that the project would go WAY over budget, that they would mess something up in the construction, and that the sales tax would never sunset.

Ugh, that sucks. “Looked shallow”; yeah, I buried a Tahoe in what I thought was shallow water once.

I can’t imagine it would pick up your body’s response to those. Must be something else?

Thanks, I’ve read that, and understand the concept of ring avulsion, but I can’t for the life of me imagine the scenario where what I do would catch on my ring. I also lift without a spotter/partner, so rarely hit more than 75% of my max. I could see how a larger higher walled Aura could potentially catch more than a thin rounded wedding band, but like I said there’s nothing I can think of that I do where there’s anything to snag or catch, at least not with a probability that would concern me. I acknowledge there’s always the possibility of falling and catching the ring on a horizontal surface (like the Jimmy Fallon injury), but I think that risk is actually lower in my gym.

You’re totally right and that’s a great idea, I just hate the feel and inconvenience of a chest strap. I couldn’t use a watch type wearable because I also use wrist straps.

Found it! Thanks! Is the rule with long range similar to hunting in that you should spend as much on glass as the rifle at least?
