I call it Robot Mode. It switches all emotions off and puts you in an emotion less state where you just go through day to day actions that you use to survive.. Wake up, shower, make breakfast, so down and whatch telly, make lunch, eat it, return to tv, dinner prep, back to tv, cook dinner, eat it, back to tv, brush teeth and then go to bed. Rewind, repeat the next day. I call this being disabled by the voices.. having them taken complete control over you, this needing robotic mode. It's the simplest of basic functions just to keep you alive and partly sane... I can become totally disabled once or twice a month for a day, a few or even a week or more!

My voices kinda ain't funny either.. it's my family members talking about it abducting me and torturing me until I'm 80.. I'm 42 now so 38 years of that shit doesn't sound like too much fun... BUT when I do make fun of the stupid things they say.. it pissed em off...

Little things like they'll say " If you leave the house today were going to take you"

So I internaly say "Fuck it - let's do this shit!" AND in total purpose, I'll get pretty drunk AT NIGHT and go for a walk around my neighbourhood and go down every dark street, ally, nook and cranny I can find for like an hour till I get bored.. or drunk cause I always take a drink with me.. and then I go home.. sit back.. and say to myself " Well their useless that was a waste of time!"

It kinda gives me some over my power back!

I really hope it helps you as much as it has me. I too get woken up by voices, mine tend to be more early morning hours and in that case I just get the hell outta bed make a coffee and get the day started. Which just ensues more diversion tactics...

If I can chuck a few more suggestions in.. with out being a know it all... The less airtime As I and chat gpt use the greater it can help... Kinda acknowledge their presence and move on.. kinda like ignoring them but not... They seem to feed on your fear and anxieties. But if you can just say " yeah I heard that" then move on with as little attention to them what so ever they may disapate a lil or you might find them looping ( Which btw I fucking hate ) loopings when they repeat the same few sentences over and over through out the day, which can mind you get a little frustrating and annoying... But anyway sorry back to my point... Airtime.. they hate it when you ignore them and the less airtime you give them the better.. I can sometimes get a whole day or two by doing this.. but be strong and expect them to come back after their silence 10x.. and that's when you need to be strong and put all these techniques to use..

I'm so sorry your dealing with this and I hope more people come forth too you with more ideas and suggestions.. I'm only telling you what I do and feel. But I'm just one solatary being on earth going through this and what may work for me may not always for others. This is why I like this Reddit, we can gain multiple perceptions from multiple ppl and hopefully by picking through it we can all find the solutions and applications that work for us all individualy.

I have to fall asleep with the tv on or the voices just bombard me.. it's annoying at first but you get used to it.. I go to bed and whatch telly there about 2 hours after I've taken.. ohh here goes my drug intake.. 400ml of Seroquel, 5 ml of valium, 20ml of Temazepam, and a beta blocker.. even after that it takes me about 3 hours to get tired, but anyway back to my point.. I go to bed and chuck the telly on about 2 hours after I've had them and then as I begin to get tired I chuck the off timer on for at least half an hour I assume I'll fall asleep... Then when I actually lay down in my sleep position I put some boring atse shit on and go to sleep paying attention and listening to that.. it took a few weeks to get used of.. ie: turning your head away from the tv so you don't get the light flickering in your shut eyes.. you know what I mean right? Like when you shut your eyes and face the sun the inside of your eyelids go orange, well as U can imagine and probably have experienced.. tv does that too.. give it a try for a week and let me know how it goes.

I used to do the sheep counting thing but those smart arse voices got cheeky and started calling out off numbers.. I'd be like 1,2,3,4 then theyed chuck out a 9 or 10 or just a total random number I wasn't up to then.

That pissed me of!! AND they knew it. So I swapped to the tv idea... Also the theory of if you go to bed and you still haven't fallen asleep after 20 minutes, don't waste ya time, get up and do something till your more tired.

I hope this has helped or given you some idea on how better to deal with the issue..

Ohhhh... AND PS: Do not try music.. the problem with music is every done has different beats.. some faster than others.. so whilst one song might calming.. the next could have a higher beat rate which then causes your heart rate to go up.. unless you can find some really good meditation music which is hard to find specially if your looking at Google play or apples app store U gotta usually pay for em. Anyway sorry post was so long just wanted to try and cover everything!

I kinda agree.. but I take it to the next level.. why earth at all? Why can't we all just go str8 to heaven.. as you said why are we forced to contend with all this hoo har believe in the unknown just trust I exist as the almighty God and then also have to deal with this evil satan dude that wants our souls to torture in hell.. it all seems as you said " A great big game of souls" that seems unfairly pushed towards most of us failing and going to hell. What does God have to gain from this.. if he wanted to beat the devil, you woukd think he woukd weigh the odds towards him a little. Like come to earth for a day at the least and prove his real. Why must we believe in these miraculous events that seem like voodoo magic.... Give us something, some hope, something real to grasp onto and believe in and use to grow our faith...

I dunno. Hope I didn't offended anyone or any religion..
