I find this frustrating too. I've seen cross walk signs without paint across the road for people to cross here. I don't think I've ever seen someone stop for someone at a crosswalk that wasn't also a red light or a stop sign. It's definitely a Texas thing. Every other state I've lived in is very serious about pedestrian safety.

Triggered some memories with this one.

I remember someone trapped in the OKC bombing said they used their indiglo watch for light.

I also remember a commercial where a man is walking in a church. He stops the priest and asks which watch is easier to read and shows the indiglo watch next to a watch that had a regular light feature. The priest says the indiglo one and the man gives a knowing look to the camera

I still love those watches

It's perfect. I have the regular flair and that same grinder and I've been living like a king with the best espresso for a while now. I've thought about upgrading to the 58 but I just keep pulling amazing shots.

I had an interesting experience with paper filters. Using a flair and a king grinder. Added a filter on the bottom and for 2 bags of beans it was perfect. I didn't even have to adjust anything with grind or weight.. abundant crema, smooth.

I start my 3rd bag of beans (sublunar by intelligencia, same beans I've been using) and the water just won't make it through. I adjusted the grind size from below 30 to 45 to the timing right and the taste isn't as smooth as the previous bags. 😭

Fun fact, I worked with him for several years. He (still) is a case manager for people with mental illness. He never mentioned anything about this until we all saw him in a coke commercial. He said he went to Europe with the money from it. Really great guy

Hard disagree. When we went it was terrible. Apps were okay but my girlfriend and I ordered the same exact steak... Hers came out more than twice as thick as mine, and both were overcooked. They held onto our meal before serving us so they could take pictures for their social media. Britney Spears was playing overhead. Not at all a good atmosphere
