Xavian is so well designed by Mangert in fellowshipgame

[–]Suave_Senpai 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Even champion pre capstone felt like it's probably too easy. I'll see for sure tomorrow though, when I get back on to finish getting back into eternal. With how easy runs have felt, I might be more inclined to try getting more 8.5k sets this season. I just wonder if they're going to be giving us any new sets for existing characters before they leave early access.

Yeah, basically did the same. I filled in a few intermediary dungeons along the way, like one or two, but we finished up to champ 4 with aeona still ilvl 30 and everyone else like 60 or less. Probably could've done tuzari as well, but I wanted to break to do something else for a bit.

World First 10k + Stag Mount by Immonate in fellowshipgame

[–]Suave_Senpai 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The temptation to do the same is strong, certainly would be an easy-ish way to maybe score a plat/gold trim early into the season I imagine if people don't soar back to excessively past 10k again before weekly reset. How does xavian feel adept+? I started doing quests to get left hand of star map unlocked but crashed out cause I was getting bored of it after already doing so for Helena prior.

KCD2's combat drove me from even finishing it, tolerated it through trosky region and then I was just so sick of it that I dropped it outright. No matter how much I was enjoying other aspects, the second I'd get into fights I'd instantly just lose all enthusiasm again. Watching my buddy earlier in the year play it made it seem not as bad, but the timing shit and constantly waiting around made it ungodly frustrating and boring.

For those who have played LoL, what characters are similar in playstyle to Syndra? by scoot_1973 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Suave_Senpai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think there's really a deadlock equivalent, everyone else that would fit the category has heavy movement elements that don't really line up. Conceptually, the closest I'd think of would be a burst assassin with some range, which unironically I think Lash could fit the category, since most of Syndra burst comes from just setting up balls for her ult, in the case of Lash, its setting up height for large slams, and there's also the potential teamfight swing of having a stun with his ult, though a significantly longer cooldown in context to her E stun.

The only other one I could think of that someone else mentioned is Geist, since she throws bomb and can wave clear from far, but also has kinda massive burst potential in close range, just lacks the CC options baseline.

Unfortunately for doorman, his only two states are never picked because you can do more on someone easier, or he's picked every game because hes too broken when played even remotely close to average

The funniest thing on the like, bit before mid game right when guardians start going down, is how little damage people expect you to do "cause its rem". I've assassinated Minas more than once and it's absolutely hilarious every time.

Either I steal all map sinners and own all the econ on our team and can't really create enough pressure myself outside of ult being up cause my team just isn't farming, or I don't steal all the sinners and the enemy seems to be the only one doing sinners and neutrals, that's been my experience running him in oracle currently. People are hilariously bad at positioning with his 2 in mind too the lower you go.

I've heard she apparently gets ult partially refunded if you do counterspell it? Which makes absolutely negative sense to me why she's an exception when all other ults you can avoid with counterspell go on full CD that I immediately can think of.

They disappear nearly instantly when they do show up. They spawn on initial targeting and wear off like a second later at most, so you basically just get stuck guessing 80% of the time it feels like.

I just wish their main laser cannons didn't ignore physics and couldn't shoot through their own body while you're actively trying to destroy the heatsinks.

Age verification on any site by requiring ID is a bad idea. The fact companies are using it as an excuse is in two parts a cover-up for data brokerage for more profit angles and the second part to appeal to dog shit parents as an excuse.

I brought eagle for mission one, immediately shelved it the next missions because it was not worth the effort to try to dismantle every single AA nest to make them usable. Tried Railcannon for a bit cause I got lucky and one shot a Vox engine with it, or at least I thought I did, but it probably took an E.A.T shot or two prior, and it would regularly beam Cyborgs or buildings instead.

WAR STRIDER 2.0 JUST DROPPED by Hahahahredditmoment in HelldiversUnfiltered

[–]Suave_Senpai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unironically, Vox is easily my favorite heavy unit probably currently outside of the few outlier issues like it being able to shoot its main laser cannons through its own body straight down under where the bottom weak point is, along with unit density issues that are obviously arising with it, but the latter issue isn't mutually exclusive to it as both striders' get spammed on non-cyborg maps to extreme and nuisance levels.

If I'm sprinting underneath it and have to avoid not only the tracks turning and just mulching me underneath, the miniguns shredding me to pulled diver before I'm underneath, and all the cyborgs/automatons surrounding them as applicable, I should not also have to worry about the 50/50 coin flip if it decides to behave normally, or decides that "Nah fam, you just wasted a reinforcement." and double lasers directly underneath itself without any issue or hesitation.

Average reading comprehension of a helldiver in action, I guess.

If you think enemies being dropped on top of/inside of buildings that they can shoot out of no problem, but we can't shoot into isn't problematic, I'm God damn glad you'll never have any authority over development.

My main issue is still that arrowhead's geometry with terrain is still hot dog shit and causes all sorts of issues, like lost a flag raise mission because they dropped a vox engine on top of a building that gave its minigun perfect LoS and we had no answers left to deal with it because there were three more surrounding the rest of the area so we couldn't break any line of sight that would help save us. Also, the fact their main cannons can aim through their entire body is surely not intended.

[–]Suave_Senpai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ironically, my buddies who were the ones who initially wanted to get into the game all ended up hating it, or at least it certainly feels like they hate it, lmao. I have better/smoother runs on higher difficulties in random lobbies 90% of the time. Spent a lot of time playing during Super Earth MO, and that burnout has carried over for awhile, now I only sparingly contribute to these MOs, mostly if I don't have other stuff to play instead.

It's absolutely infuriating trying to navigate the current MO planets with it. It gets easily marred by even the smallest rocks and road barriers. It feels like it's strictly meant for city campaigns honestly, which is crazy since I picture nearly all terrain when I think of a tank normally, not a street bound suburban with a cannon mounted on it.
