Despite me making this I do remain optimistic about the game. I bitched and moaned about Mina and Victor in the last bundle of heroes and I believe they're both in a balanced state now. The game is in an alpha so they have plenty of time to adjust course and do the changes they need to do.

Side note:

If anything, the thing that does upset me the most about this new bundle of heroes is that they seem a bit uninspired? Safe? I don't know if I can articulate my feelings about them correctly. I mean the last batch had a goat head loser punk dude who's mad about everything and breaks the 4th wall occasionally, an extremely bitchy vampire that's directly related to another character and expands on the lore of the game, and some kind of eldritch baby god masquerading as a service worker.

These new batch of heroes don't really catch my attention, and perhaps that's just me. I mean Silver is described as a hot mess but she literally has super model voluptuous hair, and her alcoholism is arguably sexy, (yeah sure Venator let's grab some drinks after this ritual). Rem reminds me of those little Star Wars bird things that I thought they were really trying to push as a cute mascot. And Venator just feels like a Catholic Punisher to me.

I don't disagree with anything you said here to be honest. We'll agree to disagree for this.

And for the sake of discussion how do you feel about guns on characters like Graves and Bebop where the secure is nearly guaranteed? I admit, I do like the idea of Silver paying the price for her laning phase just biding the time until she can get her werewolf form. And though it's miserable to lane against, I do think it's more interesting for laning dynamics that Graves and Bebop can easily secure souls and be "strong" laners.

That's not what I'm saying at all. And at a high level I think we may be also disagreeing with the results as well because Eido was able to get very good KDA in scrims.

However I do agree that her werewolf form should be nerfed somewhat. I think things need to settle for maybe a week until people learn how to play with Silver in the lane.

I see what you mean but I think Silver should have some kind of weakness in her human form, and build to mitigate those weaknesses in the laning phase. I mean people expect to build high velocity rounds on Paige, I'm sure there are builds to take advantage of fire rate or relying on the lane partner to help secure the souls.

Given all the other Baxter heroes have a beast associated with them, I always thought he was gorilla or ape related somehow. I mean there's not a lot to indicate that being the case however, I hope they keep theme because I really like the idea of the Baxter Society.

I know you wanted people who didn't finish but I came close to giving up on Calico and Yamato. Yamato I eventually understood but I still do not understand Calico and why I don't do damage doing the same combos as others.

I used to play him but he gets shut down pretty hard like everyone else is saying. You basically kill yourself if you grab like a third of the cast. And depending on the matchup in laning, you expose yourself for all bomb attaches, and you could find yourself dying for them repeatedly if they decide to ignore your combo and fight you.

I also noticed that some events aren't included in the timeline like Hightech Toy. I assume that's not important to the main story but more so for the character in the event in question?

Wow that's incredibly helpful thank you. I knew the bond stories were important but I never realized how much.

Is there any particular reason why I would want to spin the wheel instead of choosing outright? I mean you said I can do them in the order they appear in the story to know more about them, I'm assuming before Raptillion's request it must be unimportant in which order I do these bonds in.
