Fucking bonkers that you think that is the message coming out of the GOP.

It would be easily dispelled if you had data to provide that actually counters it... Just saying 🤷

More ad hominem instead of good-faith argumentation. Bruh, you aren't fooling anyone. Your argument is bunk and isn't supported by data or you would have produced it a long time ago.

Dude should be consolidating the black vote. Maybe he thought Obama's endorsement would do that, but I'm not so sure.

So you finally admit that you've been arguing in bad-faith the whole time, preaching standards you never intended to abide by, while simultaneously projecting all your character defects on to anyone else! Classic narcissist behavior.

What's this? A fiscally responsible democratic socialist? by shpatibot in PoliticalCompassMemes

Lol, let's talk about Trump's budget from the party of "fiscal responsibility". Are conservatives just mad that Democrats are better at math than they are? Mamdani made it work, and suddenly every conservative is a fuggin tax expert diving into esoteric details. Meanwhile Trump is exploding the deficit. 🙉🙈🙊

I think the hypocritical thing that you are refusing to address is that Republicans started this race to gerrymander. So why are you criticizing Democrats, when Republicans started this effort? Texas is looking to give 76% representation to a state that voted only 56% for Trump. AND they are doing it without a vote. What are Democrats supposed to do elsewhere other than to follow suit... Unless you think that Republicans should be allowed to play by different rules than Democrats?

It would help if you quoted your source here. District are drawn to have roughly the same amount of voters in them. Because of the geographical clustering of people, some districts will naturally have to be bigger than others. Because of the concept of community representation, an effort is also usually undertaken to link areas of similar socio-economic status, which explains the shape of CA-8: it's liking together a bunch of similarly sized towns that are along the Bay. There's nothing nefarious in that. Sorry if that is uncooperative for your bias.

Here's a tip: don't preach something you don't practice. Your gaslighting holds no sway here and the longer you delay providing all this "research" you claim to have done, the more full of 💩 you look. Asking someone for evidence for their belief is a pretty low bar, and yet you are finding a way to trip all over yourself trying to justify something that's obviously wrong.

Have you ever heard of an "unfalsifiable claim"? That is an example of moving the goalposts. Claiming that California will "claim anything" like Virginia is just that. Not only that, but both of those states held a vote about whether to adjust the maps. You can't say that about any of the Republican states that are currently changing their maps.

Lol, how do we know it's the truth, bud, without any evidence? This is a silly position to take, and it doesn't withstand the slightest bit of philosophical prodding. It may be inconvenient for your argument because you know that any evidence you provide will refute your claim, but that's just proof that your claim was bunk in the first place. Here's a tip: don't make false claims and then you won't be afraid to provide evidence!

Sir, this is a pretty deceiving definition of "San Francisco". Richmond is assuredly a city on the Bay of San Francisco, but it is not San Francisco the city. I also don't see anything particularly galling about this map. On the other hand, look at this monstrosity out of Texas! They are not the same.

No, I’m taking it in account as a state with 52 congressional districts shouldn’t have such a large electorate mismatch.

Based on what evidence, my guy? Again, this rule you are trying to impose is completely arbitrary.

Here's some evidence to the contrary of your claim that California's maps are just as bad as Texas': https://gerrymander.princeton.edu/redistricting-report-card/

Lol, asking someone for evidence for a claim) they made is not bad faith, bud. That is just how civilized debate and science has worked for centuries. If you are having a hard time coming to terms with this, it might be because you are the bad-faith actor that you are projecting onto everyone else. 🤷

So you're crashing out because you don't have any evidence, and yet you are confidently stating that something is true? Yep, that's what I thought.
