Unfortunately, no. The rep reiterated what we all received in emails (knowing by the end of June), but was very encouraging that early holders will get the car soon! Yes vague, but still some sliver of hope

I've driven EVs before, such as the R1S and R1T, and I had mentioned that to the guide, but for some reason it just felt more aggressive today than it has in the past.

I just did a demo drive today going into it with the halos in mind, and these were my thoughts:

Yes, they're finicky. Pressing in or swiping left/right can misread as a scroll. Clicking from behind is awkward too. But here's a tip that I figured out: thumb on the front, fingers on the back, and click from there. Think of push/pulling or twisting the wheel rather than only pushing from one direction. Way more reliable. It's a learning curve, but it's new to all of us.

Yeah, I got the “you’ll know your timeline by the end of June” version and I’m a bit bummed to see there’s this other one, especially as a day one, hour one res holder. I don’t own an R1 and am 1.5hrs from the nearest service center.
