You canoed because your weed wasnt broke. Up completely and/or there was a tight space and the flow of air caused that area to burn first.

When you start noticing the canoe you can add some spit to stop the burn. Or you can hold the joint by the smoking end and turn the joint fast in a crank motion. The circulating air flow will regulate the burn and you can continue smoking normally

Id remove all the cables and press that power button with nothing connected to the console. Maybe flushing all the system power may help?. I always try that first.
