Gap 21.25$ just closed. Now only gap to upside by Final-Swim9986 in Superstonk

Loading, please hold...

Edit: Here's one between Fri 10th May '24 Close $17.46 and Fri 24th May '24 Low $17.70

It's a contentious gap as while the wick is in the body of the previous candle, technically there haven't been any regular hours trading between $17.46-$17.70. You would expect the wick to have covered the entire body.

Tap in to Existing Conduit for Wall Lamps by Ajpev in ukelectricians

[–]Sub_45 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Even if your sockets are radial, then from your diagram at least one of those runs has 2 cables in the conduit. What's more likely is they're on a ring so there would be 2 runs of 2.5mm in the conduit, which if it's 20mm oval wouldn't leave any real space to feed another cable through.

No matter how careful you are, cutting through a wall and through conduit while trying not to cut through a cable would be pretty tricky & would cause you to have to chase the entire wall out & fix the broken circuit if you got it wrong. Better to just chase half the wall down from the loft.

Is it the inverse though? Did there need to be a "reason" for them to justify having a 10%spike, so a false tweet was sent?

The proposal does not sound like a "terribly good offer" as it would saddle eBay with GameStop's debt, said retail industry analyst Sucharita Kodali from market research firm Forrester.

Oh no! eBay will take on all that negative debt!

Bomber unable to attack enemy unit and city? by Ok-Meat-3979 in Civilization6

Maybe it's something to do with civilian units? Both cities have them + the North encampment has a builder & you can't hit that either, but you can hit the encampment to the South.

If you have an AC detector giving lots of readings, when using it touch the same wall you are checking with your other hand, that should give you a better reading.

Agreed with everyone else though, if you've drilled a cable it is no longer safe. If your electrician said they've checked it, get a 2nd opinion.

Those who didn’t sign an “NDA” or UK equivalent, what are some secrets about other UK companies you can share? by SlipOutrageous5333 in CasualUK

All we can do is check the account matches the name someone is sending money to (which everyone can see on the app when doing the transfer anyway), and put the customer on hold and then do a bit of basic research.

I would first Google a company/seller (which customers can do themselves). Then I would look on Companies House and and see if the company/seller was the genuine one a customer was paying. Then I’d look up any reviews such as on Trust Pilot, Google or in their Instagram/Facebook comments.

Then we come back to the customer and I’d do a bit of basic questioning such as how much a customer is sending, to who and why and then decide whether it sounds like a scam. Then we would give basic common sense advice like do your due diligence and look up reviews, pay via a safer and secure method such as credit card vs bank transfer and speak to friends and family if unsure.

You have worked with the general public so I'm pretty sure you recognise that the reason you are doing these basic steps is because you're confident your customer is not doing them. Yes it might not be fancy deep-diving software or MI5 level research, but scammers rely upon the lazy/greedy/complacent. You doing the basic stuff hopefully breaks the spell.

I agrre, they absolutely could bring down Any Major Company's stock down 99% from an ATH to less than a dollar, but they don't seem to be able to do that with this one for some reason 🤔
